Yesterday at BlizzCon, Blizzard introduced a new entry to the Diablo series. This new game is titled Diablo Immortal. It is an MMORPG that is set between the events of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III. The most important thing is, it is an Android game.
There is a cinematic trailer for the game, and as expected from Blizzard, it looks quite spectacular.

A short gameplay trailer is also available, which shows some in-game footage.
Gameplay Trailer
There have not been many details up to this point, but the developer has revealed the overall gameplay, basic plot, and classes.
At the end of Diablo 2, the Worldstone was shattered by Tyrael the Archangel. However, the fragments are still powerful enough that some bad guys want to use them to resurrect Diablo the Lord of Terror. That intention leads to the demons invading the world, and once again you must set out to save it. From what we have seen, it seems like you will be revisiting some of the old locations from Diablo 2 and 3. Of course, there will be some completely new levels too.
In term of gameplay, there will be a total of six classes: barbarian, wizard, crusader, monk, necromancer and demon hunter. Details about the abilities of each class and how they work can be seen on the website of Diablo Immortal.
The main antagonist of this game is Skarn, the Herald of Terror, though we can expect to see other bosses as well. Various enemies from previous Diablo games will make an appearance. And, since this game is an MMO, you will be able to fight alongside other players too.
As Diablo Immortal is a mobile game, the controls will most likely be different from other Diablo games. According to Blizzard, however, the control will be "completely natural, intuitive, and fun."
Pre-registration for the game is already available on Google Play Store. The release date, though, remains a mystery.
