Dehya is an upcoming playable Pyro character in Genshin Impact. She first appears in Chapter III of the Archon Quests. She is seen wielding a claymore, Old Merc's Pal, in Secret of the Scorching Desert. Before then, she is seen wielding another claymore, an ascended Waster Greatsword during The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings.

In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase everything you need to know about Dehya's Ascension and Talent materials so that they can pre-farm for her.

Dehya will come out in March 2023.

Agnidus Agate

Agnidus Agate are the material for Pyro characters.

Agnidus Agates are gemstones of varying quality used in the ascension of Pyro characters. Players can get them by doing the following:

Defeating normal bosses:

  • Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network
  • Primo Geovishap
  • Pyro Hypostasis
  • Pyro Regisvine

Defeating Weekly Bosses:

  • Beneath the Dragon-Queller
  • Narukami Island: Tenshukaku
  • Wolf of the North Challenge

Additionally, Agnidus Agates can be randomly obtained from Chests, Daily Commissions, and Events.

Players can convert other types of gemstone into Agnidus Agate using Dust of Azoth, or merge lesser agates into higher tier ones, at a rate of 3:1.

Light Guiding Tetrahedron

Light Guiding Tetrahedron is a drop from the Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network, a new world boss introduced in Genshin Impact 3.1.

The Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network is an amalgamation of robotic parts that deals heavy Physical damage. It also has the power to become invisible and becomes immune to damage. In doing so, it will leave parts of itself on the field.

Players can find this boss in the Hypostyle Desert of Sumeru.

By destroying those parts, you make the boss go into a recovery state and make it vulnerable to damage. Once you defeat the boss it will leave a flower that you can open that will contain 1-3 Light Guiding Tetrahedrons depending on your player level.

Sand Grease Pupa

Sand Grease Pupa is a new material to debut in 3.4. Players can find them in Wenut Tunnels, deep in the desert where the Quicksand Unagi breed. The hardened shell is meant to protect the larval bodies of the Unagi until they finally acclimate to the conditions of the dry desert.

Faded Red Satin

Faded Red Satin, Trimmed Red Silk, and Rich Red Brocade are all dropped by Eremites, which are all over the place in Sumeru.

Mirror of Mushin and Daka's Bell can be converted into Puppet Strings using Dream Solvent.

How good is Dehya?

Dehya's kit is fairly overdesigned that it is rather hard to say if she would be and effective DPS or not - it all depends on her multipliers. Dehya's playstyle is pretty much standing still and punch enemies while taking hit at the same time.

Dehya has a rather peculiar set of skills.

Molten Inferno creates a field that greatly reduce the damage taken by the active character and fires off a Pyro attack when the active character is hit. As her 1st passive further cuts down the damage taken by 60%, Dehya would overall take about 30% less damage. As this skill also increase Dehya's resistance to interruption, there should be no problem tanking hits.

Her 4th ascension passive automatically heals when she hit 30% or lower, allowing Dehya to continuously fighting even without a healer.

Dehya's Burst seems to be the main source of her damage - she should be able to attack rapidly and deal a lot of damage during it. The duration of the skill is very short, however - it lasts only 4 seconds.
