Genshin Impact might replace one of the Fontaine characters that hasn't been released yet with Sethos, who plays a crucial part in Cyno's second Story Quest. The game developer often makes decisions quickly, especially regarding its gacha system, like which characters are on its Event Banners. This causes banner leaks really important to the Genshin Impact community, and players always try to stay updated on any new information.

Genshin Impact 4.6 is set to bring a lot of new content: Arlecchino, a weekly boss, two Artifact Sets, two Story Quests, and the underground zone of Remuria. These Story Quests will focus on Arlecchino and Cyno - a pleasant surprise. Players have always found Cyno to be one of the most interesting characters in Genshin Impact, with lots of backstories to uncover. Plus, his unique sense of humor has made him even more popular with the community, even if Tighnari might disagree.

Let’s have a look at upcoming Genshin Impact Banner Characters:

Arlecchino Genshin Impact
Arlecchino – Pyro Polearm
Clorinde Genshin Impact
Clorinde – Electro Sword
Sigewinne Genshin Impact
Sigewinne – Hydro Bow
Sethos Genshin Impact
Sethos – Unknown Bow

Sethos is expected to debut as a character connected to Cyno in the 4.6 version, but the details of their relationship are still unclear. However, according to a reliable source, Sethos will become a playable character prior to Natlan’s debut. Sadly, this might mean that Emilie will be removed from the Fontaine patch cycle completely, as she is absent from the latest banner leaks. While there's a chance Emilie could become playable before Version 5.0, the current situation strongly suggests a delay.

In his concept art, Sethos is shown as a medium-sized man with white hair and desert clothes, but his final design doesn't have the cat ears he had in earlier drawings. In Genshin Impact 4.6, a new Artifact Set boosts the Burning Elemental Reaction. Players are hoping Sethos will be a 4-Star Dendro character to support Cyno. It's interesting because Dendro still doesn't have a character like Xingqiu or Yelan who can apply elements, so Sethos could fill that role nicely.

Previous leaks suggested that the Burning Artifact Set was designed specifically for Emilie, but recent details about the upcoming banner characters cast doubt on that idea. Along with Sethos, Genshin Impact will introduce Clorinde and Sigewinne in Version 4.7 and Version 4.8, although the exact order and character combinations on the Event Banners haven't been confirmed. Following that, Version 5.0 will transport Genshin Impact players to Natlan, anticipated to arrive in late Summer 2024.
