In Genshin Impact, Natlan characters are known for their Nightsoul's Blessing and their exploration abilities powered by Phlogiston. However, there's a key drawback: while these abilities are excellent for exploring Natlan, the rest of Teyvat lacks Phlogiston, which significantly limits how long these abilities can be used elsewhere.

According to the latest beta build for Version 5.1, as detailed by HomDGCat, Xilonen in Genshin Impact has similar limitations. While her overall abilities are exciting, her rollerblades will only last for 2 seconds outside Natlan before needing a cooldown, making her less effective compared to Yelan, whose Elemental Skill lasts 3 seconds and can be extended to 6 seconds with her first Constellation. On the plus side, Xilonen excels at climbing: her rollerblades last 6 seconds for scaling cliffs and can be extended to 20 seconds with Phlogiston.

Genshin Impact Xilonen's Nightsoul Exploration Ability

  • Climbing Mode: 5-second base duration, extendable to 20 seconds with Phlogiston.
  • Sprinting Mode: 2-second base duration, extendable to 5 seconds with Phlogiston.

Xilonen is an upcoming Geo character in Genshin Impact, and the community is eagerly anticipating her potential as a versatile 5-Star Support. She can be described as a Geo version of Kazuha with healing abilities and an exceptionally desirable second Constellation. Xilonen is expected to attract a lot of attention from Neuvillette and Navia players and will appear on the Event Banners during the first half of Version 5.1.

Xilonen is an upcoming Geo character in Genshin Impact.

While Xilonen's unique sprint might be less impressive outside Natlan, it could be argued that her abilities are more suited for vertical travel rather than horizontal. Unlike Yelan, who can't use her Elemental Skill to climb walls or cliffs, Xilonen can. Since there's no rule against having both Xilonen and Yelan on the same team, balancing their strengths could be beneficial for players in Genshin Impact.
