HoYoverse has officially confirmed that Aha, the Aeon of Elation, will become a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7. This is the first time an Aeon has stepped onto the playable roster. The character previously appeared in the Planarcadia story as Nihilux, a comic author. The playable unit is billed as Aeon ★ Aha, a 5-star Quantum character on the Path of Elation.

Important: Rarity, element, Path, identity, and drip art are official. Kit numbers, Eidolons, materials, Light Cone text, banners beyond Aha, and other Version 4.7 content below come from beta and community leaks. Those details are subject to change before the Special Program and live patch.

Version 4.6, titled Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, launched around September 28, 2026 with Pearl as the new limited 5-star. Aha is the first character revealed for the following patch.

Who Aha is in the story

Aeons are higher-order beings that preside over Paths. Most stay far above Pathstriders and Emanators. Aha is the exception that likes masks, jokes, and mortal disguises. In Planarcadia, players met Nihilux first. Later story material and drip marketing present that vessel as Aha revealing THEIR true self.

The playable design does not copy the original NPC look. Outlets describe a new dress and a color scheme closer to Sparxie. Some reports say the game may let players switch between the ornate playable outfit and the older Nihilux look. That part is not confirmed in official patch notes.

When Version 4.7 is expected

HoYoverse has not posted an official 4.7 date. Trackers using the usual six-week cycle after 4.6 point to:

  • Version 4.7 start: around November 10, 2026 on NA servers and November 11, 2026 on EU and Asia servers
  • Aha Phase 1 banner window if the cycle holds: about November 10 or 11 through December 2, 2026
  • Special Program: likely late October 2026

Treat those dates as estimates. Version 4.5 ran shorter than six weeks, so the calendar can still shift.

Leaked combat profile

Beta leaks frame Aha as a hybrid. At E0 to E1 she is often described as a main DPS who also buffs Elation teams. Higher Eidolons push her toward hybrid support. She does not use a normal energy bar. Ultimate charge uses a resource called Wishpower. Elation team resources such as Punchline and Aha Instant are built into the kit.

Leaked abilities

  • Basic ATK: Deals Quantum Elation damage to one enemy.
  • Skill: Marks one ally as Emanator of Elation for the rest of battle until the mark is moved. Aha then fires a follow-up attack that hits all enemies. The marked ally gains Elation and generates Wishpower for Aha at the start of that ally's turn.
  • Ultimate: Enters Faces of Elation for 3 turns, deals a large burst of Quantum Elation damage to all enemies, then fires extra random hits.
  • Talent / Wishpower: Ultimate unlocks at 8 Wishpower. Aha gains Wishpower from Basic ATK, Skill, and Elation Skill. Hitting a Punchline threshold can grant extra Wishpower and a team CRIT DMG buff.
  • Aha Instant: With Aha on the team, she personally leads Aha Instant and can fast-forward the Elation Skill. Instant SPD is raised from the default 80 to Aha's own base SPD.
  • Faces of Elation extras: While the Ultimate state is active, Elation allies get an upgraded Punchline state. Aha's damage in that window ignores a portion of enemy DEF. Leaks currently list 30% DEF ignore.
  • Elation Debt: Damage from Aha and teammates applies extra Elation Debt based on a fraction of that damage. The stored value can persist through phase changes, capped relative to the target's Max HP.
  • Elation Skill: Hits all enemies, then converts part of the Instant's total damage into True DMG split across the field.
  • Technique: Creates a short stealth zone that inflicts Misjudgment so enemies do not detect the party. Entering battle grants Aha an extra turn and a chunk of Punchline.

Leaked traces

  • Skill follow-up deals extra Elation damage to the Emanator mark and refunds a Skill Point.
  • Receiving a heal or shield from an ally can grant Wishpower, limited times per Ultimate cycle.
  • At 125 and 150 SPD, Aha's Elation stat jumps by large percentages.
  • Passive stat traces listed in kits: CRIT DMG, SPD, and CRIT Rate.

Numbers in every multiplier above are beta placeholders. Expect tuning.

Leaked signature Light Cone

Name: Upon the First Echo of "AHA"

  • 5-star Elation Light Cone
  • Raises the wearer's base Speed
  • Using Skill on another ally grants Punchline on a cooldown
  • Gives the whole team a DEF ignore buff for the rest of combat

Leakers call it strong for Aha and usable as a team-wide Elation support cone. Final text is not official.

Leaked Eidolons

  • E1: Enter combat with extra Wishpower. Team Elation DMG goes up.
  • E2: Not listed in the current public kit dump.
  • E3 / E5: Standard level-up Eidolons for Ultimate, Skill, Talent, Basic ATK, and Elation Skill.
  • E4: Raises True DMG from Elation Skills and counts extra Certified Banger stacks when Aha deals Elation damage.
  • E6: Forces a high Elation Debt floor on enemies. First Ultimate grants a large Punchline extra turn. Later Ultimates advance Aha's action. A separate leak says E6 also unlocks a special UI effect.

Farm lists circulating with the beta kit include:

Material names tied to "Fluffy" match Nihilux's comic-author cover identity. Wait for the official material preview before pre-farming rare items.

Banner and rerun leaks

Official: Aha is the only 5-star confirmed for 4.7 so far. Phase order is not posted.

Community estimates put Aha on Phase 1. Rerun names are rumor-tier only. Names that keep appearing next to her:

  • Silver Wolf Lv.999, an Elation carry often paired with Aha in theorycraft
  • Yao Guang, a frequent buffer in leaked Elation teams
  • Sparkle, listed in some regional rerun posts

A low-confidence file leak also named Kuchiba as a possible Fire Elation unit. Most roundups now treat Kuchiba as unconfirmed or leftover development data, not a locked 4.7 character.

Early team ideas from leak writeups:

  • Aha plus Silver Wolf Lv.999, Pearl, and Yao Guang
  • E2+ support Aha next to Sparxie as main DPS, with Yao Guang and Pearl

Build priority in those same posts: Speed first, then balanced CRIT, because traces scale hard with SPD breakpoints.

Other Version 4.7 rumors

  • A separate costume banner system, with an Aha skin mentioned as a prize rather than a typical spending event skin. Conditions and pity are not official.
  • Paid or shop-sold enhancements for older characters. One example circulating is extra follow-up behavior for Acheron when allies hit Crimson Knot targets. Treat this as unverified.
  • Version 4.8 is separately confirmed as a Honkai: Star Rail x Zenless Zone Zero collab with Ellen Joe and Astra Yao. That is after 4.7, not part of Aha's patch.

What to save for

  • If you play Elation teams, Aha is the Path's Aeon. Leaks present her as a core piece rather than a side carry.
  • Pearl in 4.6 and Aha in 4.7 sit back to back. Budget Jades before pulling the current banner if Aha is the priority.
  • Signature Light Cone and E1 are the stops most leak guides highlight. E2 is incomplete in public dumps, so do not plan around it yet.
  • Wait for the Version 4.7 Special Program before locking a final team or relic plan.
