She is one of the Ten Stonehearts and the CEO of Planarcadia. In combat she is not a traditional healer. She is a DEF-scaling sustain support built specifically for Elation teams. She heals, reduces incoming damage, cleanses, generates Certified Banger, and advances a carry's action. Her ceiling jumps hard once you field four Elation characters.

This guide covers her kit, stat goals, Light Cones, relics, traces, Eidolons, teams, rotation, materials, and pull value based on current 4.6 kit data. Some numbers may still shift slightly after live release, so treat this as a launch-ready plan rather than a frozen wiki page.

Who Pearl Is And Why She Matters

Pearl's kit has three jobs at once:

  1. Keep the team alive through DEF-scaling heals and Certified Banger damage reduction.
  2. Feed Elation resources such as Certified Banger and Punchline.
  3. Push one ally forward with Deep Learning. In a four-Elation team that push becomes a full extra turn.

That last point is the reason she exists. Older sustain units can keep an Elation team alive, but they do not count as Elation characters themselves. Pearl does. Replacing a non-Elation healer with her can take a three-Elation core to a four-Elation core, which upgrades her Ultimate and her Elation Skill.

Quick profile:

  • Rarity: 5-star
  • Element: Ice
  • Path: Elation
  • Base SPD: 99
  • Energy cost: 180
  • Main scaling stat: DEF
  • Role: Sustain, damage reduction, action advance, Elation support

Kit Breakdown

Basic Attacks

Brushstroke: Trace the Severed Stream
Single-target Ice damage equal to 90% of Pearl's DEF.

Brushstroke: Render the Great Wave
AoE Ice damage equal to 100% of Pearl's DEF. Heals all allies for 8% of Pearl's DEF plus 160, then heals the lowest-HP ally again for the same amount.

Brushstroke: Imagenate the Starry Night
Same as Render the Great Wave, but if Pearl currently holds Certified Banger she also deals Ice Elation damage equal to 15% of her DEF to the enemies hit.

Which enhanced Basic she uses depends on Deep Learning. If the marked ally is not Elation, she uses Render the Great Wave. If the marked ally is Elation, she uses Imagenate the Starry Night. That is why you almost always Ultimate an Elation carry.

Skill: Relume Life's Light

Gains 15 Certified Banger. Heals all allies for 12% of Pearl's DEF plus 240, then heals the lowest-HP ally again for the same amount. Combined with her traces, Skill is also a team cleanse.

Use Skill when you need Certified Banger, a cleanse, or a large heal. Use enhanced Basic when Deep Learning is already active and the team is stable.

Ultimate: Appraise Soul's Ground

Gains 20 Certified Banger and applies Deep Learning to one other ally, making that ally the Aesthetic Archetype.

Action advance scales with Elation count:

  • 1 or more Elation characters: 10% advance
  • 2 or more: 15%
  • 3 or more: 30%
  • 4 or more: the marked ally gains 1 extra turn

On that extra turn, the marked ally starts with 30 Certified Banger and 60 Punchline. Both extra resources expire at the end of that turn.

Deep Learning has 3 charges. Each enhanced Basic consumes 1 charge. When charges run out after Pearl acts, Deep Learning ends.

While Deep Learning is active, Pearl's damage also adds Ice Elation damage equal to 60% of the Aesthetic Archetype's stats. In other words, marking a strong Elation carry does not just buff that carry. It also makes Pearl's own attacks scale off that carry.

Talent: Grow Grace from Grit

Certified Banger converts into Repellency. Each point equals 200 Repellency. When an ally takes damage, Pearl spends Repellency to block 60% of that hit.

Certified Banger lasts indefinitely and caps at 50. If an ally is at 50% HP or lower, that ally also takes 30% less damage.

This is why Pearl can look "thin" on raw healing and still feel tanky. She is blocking a large slice of incoming damage before the heal even matters.

Technique: Recast Masterwork in Nacre

Applies Aesthetic Archetype to the current character and transfers it when you swap. At battle start Pearl gains 20 Certified Banger and applies a 2-charge Deep Learning to the marked ally. Use this before hard fights so the first rotation is already online.

Elation Skill: Dissolve Reason into Elation

After allies attack, they deal extra Elation damage of their own type. The bonus scales with Elation count:

  • 1 Elation: 10%
  • 2 Elation: 15%
  • 3 Elation: 20%
  • 4 Elation: 40%

Four Elation characters do not just unlock the extra turn. They also double the Elation Skill bonus compared with a three-Elation team.

Major Traces

Panoptic Vision
At 2400 DEF, Pearl gains 32% Elation. Every 100 DEF above 2400 adds 3% more Elation, counting up to 3600 excess DEF. This is the main reason you keep stacking DEF even after her heals look "good enough."

Sensory Latitude
Whenever an ally's turn begins, Pearl gains 5 Certified Banger. The amount she can gain this way resets at the start of her own turn. Enhanced Basic and Skill also dispel 1 debuff from all allies.

Aesthetic Firewall
After combat start and after Ultimate, if the Aesthetic Archetype is an Elation character, that character's next Ultimate refunds a fixed 90 Energy to Pearl. This is a huge part of her two-turn Ultimate plan.

Trace stat nodes also give 23% DEF, 9 SPD, 10% Effect RES, and 10% Elation.

Build Goals

Pearl does not want a crit DPS spread. Her job is to stay alive, hit the DEF breakpoint, act often, and recast Ultimate on time.

Priority order:

  1. Reach at least 2400 DEF so Panoptic Vision turns on.
  2. Push SPD to a comfortable team breakpoint.
  3. Use Energy Regeneration Rate so a 180-cost Ultimate stays on cycle.
  4. Add Effect RES so she does not get crowd-controlled off rotation.
  5. Keep stacking DEF toward the 3600 excess window if pieces allow it.

A practical live target:

  • DEF: 2400 minimum, 3000+ comfortable
  • SPD: 134 as a baseline, 160+ if you want her acting first and banking Certified Banger before the carry
  • ERR: enough for a consistent two-turn Ultimate in Elation teams
  • Effect RES: 30% or more if the content is control-heavy
  • Crit Rate / Crit DMG / ATK: ignore these unless you are intentionally making a meme hybrid DPS Pearl

Recommended Main Stats

  • Body: DEF% as the default. Outgoing Healing is acceptable if the piece is much better, but DEF feeds heals, damage, Repellency value, and Panoptic Vision at the same time.
  • Feet: SPD
  • Planar Sphere: DEF%
  • Link Rope: Energy Regeneration Rate

If your rotation already feels free, a DEF% rope is a valid swap. Most accounts should start with ERR.

Substat Priority

SPD until your breakpoint, then DEF%, then Effect RES, then HP%. Do not chase Ice DMG or crit unless leftover stats happen to roll there.

Best Light Cones

1. Colors for Tomorrow (Signature, 5-star Elation)

This is her best cone. At S1 it increases the wearer's DEF by 48%, heals all allies for 10% of the wearer's DEF when she uses an Elation Skill, and raises enemy damage taken by 10% for 3 turns. Each other Elation teammate adds another 4% damage taken.

It solves three problems at once: more DEF, more healing, and a team damage amp that grows in full Elation lineups. Pull it if Pearl is a long-term Elation staple. Do not treat it as mandatory on day one if your jades are tight.

2. Mushy Shroomy's Adventures (Strong 4-star option)

Gives Elation and applies an Elation damage taken increase after Pearl uses her Elation Skill. You will need more DEF from relics because this cone does not give the huge DEF multiplier of her signature. It is still the best widely available substitute.

3. Other Elation cones or a DEF / ERR stat stick

Any leftover Elation cone that gives useful stats can work while you farm. Avoid ATK-heavy cones. Pearl does not scale with ATK.

Best Relics And Planars

Best Cave Relic: Dreamlit Actor (4-piece)

This is the set built around her.

  • 2-piece: SPD
  • 4-piece: Using Skill or Ultimate on one ally raises that ally's Elation by 16% for 3 turns. If Pearl has at least 10 Certified Banger, the whole team also gains 12% Crit DMG for 3 turns.

Pearl generates Certified Banger constantly, so the 10-stack condition is easy to keep active. The 4-piece buffs the ally she Ultimates, which is exactly how her kit already wants to be played.

Farm this from the new Cavern of Corrosion, Path of the Secret Actor.

Alternative Relic Ideas

  • 2-piece Dreamlit Actor plus 2-piece SPD or DEF if your 4-piece rolls are bad
  • Messenger Traversing Hackerspace if you specifically need a team SPD burst after Ultimate

Do not stay on mixed 2-piece sets for long. Dreamlit Actor 4-piece is the real build.

Best Planar Ornament

Sprightly Vonwacq is the safest first choice because Pearl's Ultimate costs 180 Energy. ERR plus the extra opening SPD helps her land Deep Learning before the first carry window.

Other options:

  • A planar that gives more team Elation if your Ultimate cycle is already comfortable
  • A DEF-focused planar only after energy is solved

Energy first, luxury stats second.

Trace Priority

Level these in this order:

  1. Ultimate
  2. Skill
  3. Talent
  4. Elation Skill
  5. Basic ATK

Ultimate is the identity of the character. Skill is the reliable heal and Certified Banger dump. Talent determines how much damage she actually blocks. Basic ATK can wait because the important Basic is the enhanced version tied to Ultimate.

Eidolon Priority

Pearl is complete at E0. She does not need Eidolons to function as Elation sustain.

  • E0: Full kit. Extra turn already exists in four-Elation teams.
  • E1: Best first stop. Shares a portion of Pearl's Elation with the team, up to 60%. Strong in four-Elation comps.
  • E2: Team Elation damage up 15%. Ultimate also advances other Elation allies, and the extra-turn Certified Banger / Punchline package is doubled. This is the premium gameplay upgrade.
  • E4: Stronger Repellency. Better sustain, not more damage.
  • E6: 20% All-Type RES PEN during Deep Learning, plus a much larger bonus Elation hit on her enhanced Basic. Whale stop.

Recommended stopping points: E0 if you just need the sustain slot, E1 if you main Elation, E2 if you want the team to feel finished.

Best Teams

Pearl's value scales with Elation count. Two Elation teammates make her good. Three make her strong. Four make her the version of the character the kit is written around.

Team 1: Silver Wolf Lv.999 Hypercarry

  • Silver Wolf Lv.999: main Elation DPS
  • Yao Guang: Elation support and Aha Instant windows
  • Sparxie or Aventurine Waveflair: second damage piece or extra Elation body
  • Pearl: sustain and extra turn

This is currently one of her highest-value jobs. Ultimate Pearl just before Silver Wolf's burst window so the extra turn, Certified Banger, and Punchline land on the carry. Yao Guang exists to create more Elation Skill windows. Pearl exists so the fourth seat is still Elation instead of a generic healer.

Team 2: Evanescia Core

  • Evanescia: main DPS
  • Yao Guang: Elation support
  • Elation Trailblazer or Sparxie: fourth Elation seat
  • Pearl: sustain

Evanescia likes frequent Ultimates and extra Certified Banger. Pearl's Aesthetic Firewall refunds 90 Energy after the marked Elation character Ultimates, which helps Pearl recast Deep Learning. This team is smoother than it looks because both Pearl and Evanescia want the same resource loop.

Team 3: Aventurine Waveflair Double Sustain

  • Aventurine Waveflair
  • Pearl
  • One Elation carry
  • One Elation support

Use this for learning the kit, surviving messy new bosses, or clearing content where chip damage plus giant hits both matter. Pearl covers healing and reduction. Aventurine covers large incoming hits. You lose some damage compared with a four-damage-seat Elation team, but the floor is very high.

Team 4: F2P-leaning Four Elation

  • Available Elation carry
  • Elation Trailblazer
  • Yao Guang if owned, otherwise another Elation support
  • Pearl

If you cannot field four Elation units yet, run Pearl anyway. She is still a strong healer with cleanse and damage reduction. Just know that the extra turn and the 40% Elation Skill bonus are locked behind the fourth Elation teammate.

Who To Mark With Ultimate

Always mark the main Elation carry unless you are specifically saving a support's energy window. Marking an Elation character upgrades Pearl's Basic, enables Aesthetic Firewall, and puts the extra turn on the unit that can spend Punchline.

Rotation

A clean launch rotation looks like this:

  1. Use Technique on the carry before the fight.
  2. Let Pearl Skill early if Certified Banger is low or someone needs a cleanse.
  3. Ultimate the carry before their burst turn.
  4. Spend Deep Learning charges on enhanced Basics. Those Basics heal, deal AoE Ice damage, and can add Elation damage.
  5. Recast Skill whenever the team needs Certified Banger or a dispel.
  6. Hold the next Ultimate for the next carry window, not the instant it comes back, unless the team is about to take a lethal hit.

In four-Elation teams, the extra turn is the burst button. Do not waste it on a filler action. Line it up with the carry's strongest sequence.

Because Sensory Latitude gives Certified Banger at the start of ally turns, Pearl often rebuilds her defensive pool just by letting the team play. You do not need to Skill every single turn.

Materials

Current totals for a full build:

  • Credits: about 3.3 million
  • Sea Siren's Torn Fin: 65
  • Whimsy Wax: 51
  • Dreamweave Steel: 71
  • Lucid Awl: 73
  • The Fluffy Hand-drawn Storyboards: 18
  • The Fluffy Serialization Memorial Issue: 69
  • The Fluffy Collector's Edition: 139
  • Weekly boss material: 12
  • Tracks of Destiny: 8

Farm the new 4.6 weekly and cavern materials first. Pearl wants traces more than most supports because Ultimate, Skill, and Talent all do different jobs.

Is Pearl Worth Pulling?

Pull Pearl if you already own an Elation carry and want that team's missing sustain piece. She is especially worth it for Silver Wolf Lv.999, Evanescia, Sparxie, and Aventurine Waveflair because those units all benefit from extra turns, Certified Banger, and a fourth Elation body.

Skip or wait if:

  • You do not have an Elation DPS yet
  • You need a universal healer for mixed-path teams
  • You would have to spend every jade on both Pearl and her signature cone

E0 Pearl is already the character. Colors for Tomorrow is a strong upgrade, not a requirement. E1 is the first constellation that changes team damage in a meaningful way.

If you can only afford one 4.6 limited unit and you main Elation, Pearl is the safer long-term slot. Carries get replaced. Dedicated Path sustain for a new damage system usually stays relevant longer.

Final Build Checklist

  • 4-piece Dreamlit Actor
  • Sprightly Vonwacq or another ERR planar
  • DEF% / SPD / DEF% / ERR
  • 2400+ DEF
  • Signature cone if available, Mushy Shroomy's Adventures if not
  • Ultimate marked on the Elation carry
  • Four Elation teammates whenever the roster allows it

Pearl is the Elation team's missing adult in the room.
