Trailblazers can look forward to generous free rewards in the upcoming Version 4.7 of Honkai: Star Rail. The update introduces a free character selector along with special upgrades and other goodies to help players strengthen their teams for endgame content.
Free Character and Ex-Eidolon Selector
Players can select one free 5-star character and one free Ex-Eidolon from three popular units:
- Acheron
- Jing Yuan
- Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae
The Ex-Eidolon works like an extra power-up past the usual E6 limit. It gives significant kit boosts that improve damage and utility. Only one free character and one free Ex-Eidolon are available this way. The remaining two Ex-Eidolons come through top-up rewards or other paid methods.
This setup lets players fill a missing DPS slot or push a favorite unit higher without extra pulls.
Additional Free Rewards
Version 4.7 also includes more freebies:
- Standard 7-day login rewards
- A bundle of minor rewards
- Golden Spirit (Jiaoqiu added to the shop)
- Free Trailblazer Outfit
These extras give free-to-play players solid value even if they skip the selector.
New Content Highlights
The main new character is the playable Aeon Aha, a Quantum Elation unit built to support Elation teams. She offers unique buffs and follow-up mechanics that raise allied damage output.
Version 4.7 is expected around mid-November 2026 once Version 4.6 ends. The free rewards and new support options should help teams clear modes like Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction more easily.
