We are getting closer and closer to Season 13 of PUBG Mobile, but the 0.18.0 update will be getting here first to this awesome Battle Royale game. There will be some major changes to the game once the update finally arrives that will sure to change how some people play PUBG Mobile.

The new update should be arriving on May 7 after a period of beta testing. When the date arrives, 0.18.0 should be available for download on both iOS and Android devices, so get it as soon as you can.

Miramar 2.0

Tencent Games have even released a trailer of the new map that gives us a lot of information to obsess over. For sure Miramar will be getting some swanky upgrades. For example, there will be a racecourse added to the map, and a bunch of new features and new buildings to fight and take cover in.

And new features include the vending machines, which give energy drinks or painkillers. Try to find these on the map and boost your chances of getting 'chicken dinners'

New PUBG Mobile game modes

Update 0.18.0 will give us a lot more than just already exciting changes to the Miramar 2.0 map. We know that there will be at least one new game mode that can fix a perennial problem in the game. It is called Safety Scramble.

Safety Scramble is meant to prevent players from abusing the practice of camping within the upcoming safe zone. The game will still show the upcoming safe zone but blue it out, which should prevent someone from getting lucky with their drop, who would then camp there and stop other players from getting to the safe zone as well. The classic map Erangel looks to be featuring this new innovative anti-camping mode

New guns and attachments

Of course, the 0.18.0 update should be introducing a whole host of new weapons and new options to modify the weapons with. The P90, an iconic weapon in many shooter games, is coming to the new update. Based on several beta experiences, the P90 will certainly be a favorite for many players when it is officially available.

A 2.7x scope will also be available to the Win94, and the weapon will feature a canted sight that makes it more effective in both long-range and close-range combat.

PUBG Mobile Season 13 start date

Season 13 of PUBG Mobile should be starting on May 13, which should be easy to remember. Appropriately enough, the Season 12 Royale Pass will be expiring on May 12, which means you have only a week left to finish anything you haven't already.
