As a part of PUBG Mobile’s 2nd-anniversary celebration, PUBG developers have decided to launch the Music Cover Contest named 2GETHER We Play. Winners of the event would get a trip to the biggest PUBG Mobile esports tournament of the year, various merchandise, along with some unique permanent in-game goodies. The event would last for about three weeks, from Mar 15 to Apr 5.

The chance to perform in the event is actually the real prize for aspiring musicians

To be a part of the event, participants have to download the theme song of PUBG from the official source then create their own cover of the theme. Any music instruments and vocals would be acceptable, as long as it stays true to the original music to an extent. After the cover is done, participants would have to upload their work to YouTube and add the hashtag #PUBGMThememusiccoer into the video’s description.

After these steps are completed, contenders would have to register their names on the official contest website. The process for registration is rather simple – one only needs to provide the link to their video, an ID and an email address for contact.

The grand prize of the event

By April 25, the top 15 videos with the highest view count would become the winners of the contest. Rewards would be divided into three tiers, with the top scorer getting a trip to the next esports tournament of PUBG Mobile – they might even get a chance to perform in those events as well. The Sixth to the tenth position would get PUBG Mobile’s official merchandise while 11 to 15 would get a permanent in-game skin.

The higher tiers would get all the rewards of the tiers below them as well. For more information about this event and the music videos from the contestants, please check out the official event site.
