Tanmay "Sc0utOP" Singh, the star player of the Indian PUBG Mobile team Fnatic has announced a tournament called Scout Invitational Tournament on his social media. The tournaments will feature teams from the PUBG Mobile Pro League along with amateur teams from India.
Scout Invitational Tournament Format
Qualifiers: Amateur teams need to register and fight each other to be qualified for the Finals and play against pro teams. Teams can register for the tournament on Scout's Discord channel. There will be a total of 200 teams. These teams will be split into 10 groups of 20 to fight against each other. After that, the top 4 teams from each group will advance to the group stage.
Group stage: 40 teams in the group stage will continue to be split into 4 groups of 10 to complete each other. A total of 16 teams consist of the top 4 teams from each group will go to the semi-finals and play with the 16 teams from the PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia.
Semi-finals: 32 teams, both pro and amateur teams, will be split into 4 groups. Only the top 4 teams from each group will go to the Grand Finals.
Here are the rules of the Scout Invitational tournament:
- All matches will be played in the first-person perspective on Erangel and Miramar.
- Auto pick up will be turned off, which means you have to loot manually.
- Aim assist will be turned off.
- The scoring system will be a little bit different with fewer points placement to encourage teams to fight more.
