The core of Umamusume: Pretty Derby is about training your characters for PvP battles through career runs. But the game also pushes you to race in specific events to snag some sweet rewards, like Carats for the gacha system.

The Spring G1 Celebration missions are a great example. You’ve got to place high in three specific races and knock out a few other tasks to grab the rewards. Here’s the lowdown on how to wrap these up before the event disappears.

All Spring G1 Celebration Day One Missions

To check out the Spring G1 Celebration day one missions, head to the Special Missions tab on the right side of the home screen. Click the Special tab, and you’ll see the event tasks listed. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Complete one, three, five, and ten career playthroughs.
  • Finish top three in Fillies' Revue in Career mode.
  • Finish top three in Tulip Sho in Career mode.
  • Win the Oka Sho race in Career mode.
  • Complete all the tasks listed above.

You’ll only score the 150 Carat reward once you’ve cleared every task in this event.

How To Win Fillies' Revue, Tulip Sho, And Oka Sho Races

Winning these three races comes down to two things: finding them and running them with the right character. In Career mode, the race schedule stays the same no matter which character you pick. Here’s where to find each race:

Race Distance Where To Find
Fillies' Revue Sprint Classic Year Early March
Tulip Sho Mile Classic Year Early March
Oka Sho Mile Classic Year Early April

Since Fillies' Revue and Tulip Sho happen on the same day, you’ll need at least two career runs to hit all three races. These races are Sprint and Mile distances, so picking characters with an A rating in those distances makes them a breeze. That said, Daiwa Scarlet is a solid pick for Tulip Sho and Oka Sho since those are her main races in her career path, so you don’t have to go out of your way to enter them.

If you’re not using Daiwa Scarlet, just wait until the right day in the Classic Year and enter the races through the Race menu in training.
