Top 5 Best Crowd Control Characters In Genshin Impact 2022

Crowd Control (CC) is the ability to effectively disable mobs of enemies, for example by clumping them into a certain area or making them lose control. In Genshin, there are many types of CC, including certain Elemental Reactions and combat talents. In this article, we are going to showcase the top 5 best crowd control characters in Genshin Impact 2022.

1. Venti

• Burst has a huge AOE that draws enemies inside and launches them into the air.

Venti is an Archon, one of the gods in the world of Genshin Impact... and that's enough reason for him to be broken. His Elemental Burst is one of the best crowd control in the game, with the ability to group up enemies and absorb elements. He completely dominates in fights with smaller enemies.

After unlocking the Talent "Stormeye", Venti’s energy will be replenished at the end of Wind’s Grand Ode. If an element was absorbed, the Energy of party members of that element will also be replenished. This allows Venti to consistently boost a teammate by swirling his Burst.

2. Sucrose

• Can CC vacuum enemies in with both her Skill and Burst.

Sucrose is a flexible character who can crowd control and debuff enemies while buffing the elemental reaction damage of your other characters. If players are running an elemental reaction team but do not have access to Kazuha, Sucrose is definitely a good alternative.

She needs C1 and C4 to unlock her full support potential. This is not a difficult task as Sucrose is just a 4 star. C4, on the other hand, gives her the ability to buff teammates' elemental damage by 20%.

3. Kazuha

There is a reason that Kazuha is the current most wanted support character in the game. He is super versatile and can be used on pretty much all team comps. His EM buff is also generic and suitable for the majority of builds in the game, unlike other supports who can only buff one thing.

While he offers less CC than Venti, it doesn't matter much as not all enemies can be CC-ed. Kazuha's extra damage is much more valuable.

4. Mona

• Mona can immobilize enemies with her Burst and taunt them with her Skill.

Mona is a powerful Hydro sub-dps character that was designed around triggering Vaporization. Her key focus is her ability to drastically amplify Elemental DMG with her Elemental Burst, Stellaris Phantasm.

Her ability places a debuff bubble on enemies that not only amplifies the damage dealt to them but also deals an explosion of Hydro damage when the bubble is popped. Using this Hydro explosion to trigger Vaporize will deal massive amounts of damage.

Outside of her powerful burst, she can also serve as a battery and taunt for additional crowd control.

5. Zhongli

Zhongli is the best Shielder in the game and also one of the most powerful characters lore-wise. His tough shield can withstand all types of enemy attacks, allowing players to get away with any type of squishy lineup. Furthermore, he is no slouch when it comes to dealing high damage. Zhongli can dish out huge AoE Geo damage with his Elemental Burst, which also inflicts Petrify.

Players can also build Zhongli as a normal DPS attacker with team support and the appropriate gear.
