Avengers: Endgame is the 4th movie in the Avengers sequel and the 22nd one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The total production cost of “Avengers: Endgame” is 899 million US dollars, including $356 million for production cost, $175 million for actors’ and employees’ payment, $155 million for promotion cost, and other expenses. With all of the cost deducted, the movie still brings a record-breaking net profit of $890 million.
Robert Downey Jr., who played the millionaire hero "Iron Man", receives a $55 million box office dividend in addition to his salary of $20 million. Other members of the cast also receive their shares based on the box office score.
MCU Fans also celebrate “Avengers: Endgame” with breaking news: four-time Marvel movie directors Anthony and Joe Russo, better known as the Russo Brothers, confirm that they will work with Marvel Studios again once the right time comes. The history of the MCU saw the seven-year contribution of the directing duo: Captain America sequels The Winter Soldier and Civil War, then Avengers: Infinity Wars and Endgame.
These movies end up topping the previous one’s grossing to successfully bring the Comics to the cinemas with the biggest stars in the business. The Russo Brothers now take a step back to focus on AGBO, their production company while still maintaining close contact with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and co-president Louis D'Esposito.
Anthony Russo in an interview with the Esquire, praised their experiences working on four movies during the span of 7 straight years with Marvel Studios as "a time of our life". He also claimed that he and his brother were very proud of what they had accomplished in collaboration with Marvel. He also claimed to be looking for ways to forward their experiences and relationships, namely by their new movie Extraction, starring Chris Hemsworth, which was released just a few days ago.
On another footing, Joe Russo said that even though they are focusing more on AGBO’s projects such as Cherry and Exit West with the Obamas, they will surely return to MCU’s cosmic crossovers, the Secret Wars, or a film about the metal-clawed Wolverine of the X-Men.
