About Mortal Kombat 2021
The protagonist of this story is a brand new character named Cole Young. He is a mediocre MMA fighter, who's unaware of his heritage... until his door was knocked down by an assassin from Outworld's emperor Shang Tsung. Getting hunted, Cole escapes to the temple of lord Raiden, an elder god who's the protector of Earthrealm... and begins his training for the Mortal Kombat tournament.
Cole would stand alongside some of the greatest champions of Earth - Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jax, Kano, Sonya Blade and more... would be a big part of the movie. This movie is going to be R rated - it is going to have the same degree of gore as the original video game... unlike the previous movies back in the 1990s.
