The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is live right now, and it’s absolutely blowing up! The beta kicked off with an Early Access period on August 7, 2025, for those who snagged codes through Twitch Drops, Battlefield Labs, or EA Play Pro subscriptions. Since August 9, it’s been open to everyone on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, running through August 10 and continuing for another weekend from August 14-17. Players are flooding in, with servers hitting capacity and queues reportedly surpassing 200,000 players at peak times.
Fans are going nuts over the massive 128-player battles, destructible environments, and the Kinesthetic Combat System, with social media buzzing with clips of tanks smashing through buildings and intense dogfights. EA’s calling it their biggest beta ever, and the hype is real—Steam saw nearly 10,000 concurrent players even before the open phase started!
