A 10-minute video of a Battlefield 6 Season 1 map popped up online recently. It looks like the real deal and backs up earlier hints that two maps in the game will take place in California. These maps, Blackwell Field and Eastwood, appear to be brand-new designs created specifically for Battlefield 6, not recycled from older titles in the series.
Even with strict rules for playtesters, Battlefield 6 has been leaking like crazy before its official launch. Most of these leaks are coming from the Battlefield Labs program, which lets players test parts of the game. The developers probably aren't thrilled about it, but fans are loving these early glimpses.
Battlefield 6 Leak Reveals Season 1 Map
A leaker named Misaka_Mikoto_01 dropped a 10-minute video showing off a map set for Season 1 of Battlefield 6. It’s called Blackwell Field and is located in Kern County, California. The map has stuff like oil rigs, an airport landing strip, rocky hills, and a small town. It’s set around sunset with a cloudy sky and some cool pink and orange colors near the horizon. The video mainly focused on a map code-named Badlands but also gave a quick look at another one called Eastwood, also in California. Both maps seem to be fresh additions to the franchise, built from the ground up for this game.
Sadly, the video got taken down, so fans can’t check it out anymore. The fact that EA pulled it so fast probably means it’s legit. This leaker seems to know their stuff, too, since they also shared early footage of Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale mode.
With the October release getting closer, Battlefield 6 fans are getting more pumped every day. The developers might not love these leaks, but they’re keeping the game in the spotlight. Combined with official news, like how Battlefield 6 will have more realistic cosmetics compared to Call of Duty, the excitement is building. Hopefully, Battlefield 6 delivers what fans want, especially those who are tired of modern Call of Duty games.
