Call Of Duty Warzone Season 4 To Feature Captain Price!

Infinity Ward has officially confirmed the start date and time for Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare. In India, it will drop in just a few hours,  which is 11:30 am, Thursday, June 11 (11 PM PDT on Wednesday 10).

Season 4 of Call of Duty was scheduled to start on June 2/3 but was delayed for a while due to protests over the murder of George Floyd. Now we finally know when it will start, and the date matches the previous rumors.

Legendary Captain Price Will Return in Call of Duty Warzone Season 4

Little is known about this season, other than that Captain Price, the iconic character from the original Modern Warfare trilogy, who was also featured in the "reboot" campaign, will be one of the unlockable operators with the battle pass. Also, some users have revealed that his appearance in the game could have been leaked.

The name Captain Price is synonymous with the Call of Duty franchise. During the Activision FPS saga, we have only controlled the SAS operator on a couple of levels. Then Captain Price became one of the characters who returned for the 2019 reboot of the franchise.

And now, he has been confirmed as one of the operators that we will be able to control in Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone, whose story is linked to the campaign and to Spec Ops mode. The "teaser" came via the official Call of Duty Twitter account.

Call of Duty Warzone Leaks About Captain Price

Price may not be the only veteran to arrive at Warzone in the new season. In addition to the leader of Task Force 141 in the trailer, the arrival of Kyle Garrick, the sergeant known as Gaz, is hinted at. We've seen him in the main Modern Warfare campaign, and he could be one of the people to end Mr. Z's terrorist organization at a Warzone event.

In any case, via Reddit, we got an image of what the main protagonist of the season will look like, aka Captain Price. The iconic character from the original Modern Warfare trilogy, who returned in the new reboot will finally join as a controllable operator in Call of Duty Warzone.

Apparently, the character was being controlled by one of the developers of Infinity War, and a weapon skin that is not public was also showed off.

New Weapons in Call of Duty Warzone Season 4

At the moment, none of the weapons that will appear in the new season have been confirmed, although there are leaks about new rifles and the data miners have found some references to the arsenal in the newest update of the game.

The first of these is the Galil assault rifle, from the Israeli Military Industries, using 5.56mm ammunition. In addition, there is a submachine gun with a futuristic design, the Kriss Vektor, that is about being more manageable and having a high rate of fire.

In both cases, various options have also been leaked regarding the barrel length, loaders and cylinder head couplings. Based on the behavior hinted at in the leaks, the IMI Galil will behave similarly to the Ak 47 Kalashnikov in Call of Duty Warzone.

As for the other leaked models, we expect a Rytec AMR (anti-material rifle) sniper rifle that is a model of the Barrett XM109, a high powered precision rifle that is capable of piercing through armor.

References to the AN-94 rifle also appear in the files of the last patch, which is a modernized version of the AK 74, made of polymer, instead of the traditional wooden structure, but with similar strengths and a 5.56 caliber.
