EA claimed that it’s considering several ideas for a remastering the beloved classic game the Command & Conquer.

The Command & Conquer is a real-time strategy video game, developed firstly by Westwood in 1995. The series has been continued development by EA. And the game is upcoming on mobile platforms. However, EA concerns the franchise fanbase’s response to the game on the PC.

EA producer, Jim Vessella shared with Reddit that as a 20-year fan of C&C, he heard the community wants the franchise return on PC and completely agreed with them. Therefore, EA’s been considering some ideas about remastering the classic game on PC and they already have stepped in the first stage to celebrate the 25th anniversary. Vessella is not only a fan of Command & Conquer, but he also has worked one of the most beloved series.

The Command & Conquer was released on PC worldwide in 1995 and in 2020, it marks the 25th anniversary. According to Vessella’comment reveals that EA has prepared a plan for the celebration. His comment on Reddit also may mean that some of the Command & Conquer remaster already in the developed stage, but he did not disclose anything about the name would be rolled out separately or in a collection.

Vesella didn't share anything specific, however he said that EA will "be talking to fans in a variety of ways" in the next few weeks. An he just commented in the sections on Reddit post, he wrote about information of the remaster if it releases. The original game’s back with the new game’s several modern amenities, which’s quite a treat. For people who worried about that, Vessella answered: “We will not be adding any microtransactions to a C&C Remaster”.

Since 1995, The Command & Conquer game has seen different games and the expansion packs with the MMO Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliance in 2012. All of them is still playable on PC. There are around a dozen games but not counting spin-offs.
