If you are a fan of The Legends of Zelda, then maybe you are in for a little treat next month. The next game to be set in the Zelda universe, officially named Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer, will apparently launch this upcoming month for the Switch. The game was originally announced in March alongside a trailer, which you can see below:

So, as you can see, the trailer claims that the game will be coming this “spring”, and the same thing was also stated on the official website of Nintendo. However, a few days ago, some keen-eyed fans analyzed the source code of the site and discover a line that read "Release date: May 30, 2019."

Since this information was made public, though, that line has been changed to June 20 on the site, and given that the 30th of May has now come and gone and Cadence of Hyrule is still nowhere to be seen, we can assume that June 20 is the real release date. In any case, we’ll probably hear more information from Nintendo at the E3 press conference, which is scheduled to take place on June 11.

Maybe we'll hear more about the game at E3

In case you didn’t know, Cadence of Hyrule is a crossover between the renowned franchise The Legends of Zelda from Nintendo and Crypt of the NecroDancer, an indie rhythm hit that originally launched back in 2015. It is a roguelike game in which you get to control familiar heroes such as Link and the princess Zelda and must try to strategically outstep enemies and bosses in rhythmic combat in order to save Hyrule.

This upcoming game is made by Brace Yourself Games, the same studio behind Crypt of the NecroDancer. The art style has been revamped to give it a more Zelda-like look though. It seems Nintendo fans have a lot to look forward to at E3 this year.
