Previously in the start of July, we've informed you about Bandai Namco's announcement on its One Piece and Dynasty Warriors cross-over - One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. However, at that time, we only have a small trailer and some screenshots, and there's little information on its gameplay.

Until today! In order to prepare for its attendance of Tokyo Game Show 2019, Bandai Namco has showcased the gameplay of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 through its new TGS trailer. You can see it below:

The TGS 2019 trailer features a lot of Carrot actions

The first impression of the TGS 2019 trailer of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is the landscape of Wano country. Even though Bandai Namco and Omega Force have revealed that this game will mainly focus on the Whole Cake Island arc, maybe they don't want to spoil the contents too soon. Nevertheless, the overall visuals of the Wano country are gorgeous, maybe even prettier than the anime itself.

Step on them like a bunch of ants

Later, we can see some of our favorite characters in action. We can see Luffy with his titular Gear punch, Zoro's blade dance and the best one - the cute bunny girl Carrot. They'll fight against hordes of enemies - the traditions of Omega Force with their light, strong and Musou attacks. The animations look very smooth, and there's also an epic scene where you will fight a huge Tyrannosaurus dinosaur.

Carrot will be one of the playable characters in the game

To cut the long story short, this trailer has done a good job of alluring players to the franchise. If you've already seen the anime, this game is definitely a must-try. And if you haven't seen any episode yet, after watch this trailer and try the game, it's very likely you'll go and grind several hundred episodes afterward.

Release date and supported platforms

That's all we saw from this trailer, and we will have to wait after Tokyo Game Show 2019 to get more in-depth reviews about the game.

Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates will come to Tokyo Game Show 2019

But if you want to try it on your own after TGS, here's some bad news for you: One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 doesn't have an official release date yet. At launch, the game will come out at some times in 2020, and it will support PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

Enjoy!
