After all the fun we had with the Motor Glider for a week in PUBG Labs, the Motor Glider is finally arriving PUBG live servers officially on January 15.
The responses from players about the Motor Glider were fantastic so of course, we all know this will happen eventually. However, there will be some changes to the Motor Glider to make it more balance to the game. Here is all the important information about the Motor Glider when it goes live.
- The Motor Glider will still be available for only 2 maps Erangel and Miramar.
- There is a total of 10 Motor Glider each match.
- The Motor Glider will spawn without any fuel at all, which forces players to loot first before finding the Motor Glider.
- There will be a total of 40 spawn locations, which means players have a 25% chance to find one on each location. This rate can be changed in the future for balance purposes.
With these changes, players will have to watch out for other players/ teams when they want to take a Motor Glider because it will be no longer punch fights but gunfights. Also, PUBG dev found out that the Motor Glider is only useful in the early game so you might want to land before later circles start.
In other news, the next season of PUBG will remove Vikendi temporarily from the map selection and replace it with a new map called "Karakin." To know more about this map and changes in the next season, you can read here.
