GTA Tuner cars can be customized with numerous modifications and accessories. While these sports cars are all impressive in both look and performance, buying all of them is usually not an option. Players need to pick out the ones with the best performance.
These highly customizable vehicles can be purchased from Benny's Original Motorworks, Southern San Andreas Super Autos, and Legendary Motorsport. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the top 10 best Tuner Cars in GTA Online 2023.
1. Annis ZR350
The ZR350, previously known as ZR-350, is a two-door sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online. It was introduced as part of the 1.57 Los Santos Tuners update in July 2021, along with the speedy Karin Calico. The ZR350 has good top speed and decent acceleration, but it is rather inferior compared to other cars in its class, like the Jester RR. Its traction is also poor and is very easy to destabilize.
This new iteration of the Annis ZR350 is better than ever, possessing great speed and acceleration while also still retaining some of its damage resistance.
2. Comet S2
The Pfister Comet S2 is a sports car added in the Tuners update. Overall, it performs pretty well in races, having great acceleration, speed and braking power. It can even compete with stock cars in the super class, as it is able to keep up to them through the corner entry and stability through corner exits. This is why the Comet S2 is the best Tuner car in the game.
However, despite having excellent traction, the Comet S2 suffers from what is called a "Pendulum Effect" from rear-engined, rear-wheel-drive vehicles. This allows players to swerve continuously to drift.
3. Growler
The Pfister Growler is a two-door sports car based on the Porsche 718 Cayman. Its design is comparable to the Comet S2, another car featured in the same update, as well as the other Comet models. Performance-wise, it is very similar to the Comet S2, with a good top speed and can handle itself in the corners pretty well.
However, the Growler has fewer customization options than the Comet S2, and that's why it is only in the second spot on this list.
4. Karin Futo GTX
The Karin Futo is Grand Theft Auto's version of the Toyota AE86. Players who are a fan of 80's styled cars will enjoy the look of this sports car. The liveries for this vehicle could be better but it offers far more than that for the upgrades.
Players can customize just about everything on this car, making it one of the best to design. The top speed isn't going to win any rewards, but the acceleration is something that any player will be proud of. The handling is also kind of lackluster for players who want to drift like a king.
5. Obey Tailgater S
The vehicle is listed as a Sports vehicle on the Rockstar Games Social Club website, while in-game, the vehicle appears in the Sedans vehicle class. However, that is not to say that the Obey Tailgater S lacks inspiring customization options.
The Tailgater S has superb traction despite its RWD layout, and has a decent top speed and handling. There are countless ways that one can personalize this vehicle.
6. Annis Euros
The Annis Euros is slightly on the heavy side, as it has a slow acceleration pace against some vehicles in its class, but a good top speed. This car has some amazing liveries that mimic those found in Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift.
This is one of the more modern-looking cars from the update that players can get their hands on.
7. Remus
The Remus is the best Tuner car for JDM fans - it is heavily based on the 1988–1994 Nissan Silvia (S13) coupe. Performance-wise, the Remus has a good top speed and acceptable acceleration, on top of very stable handling. The car has a great grip on the road and can handle turns without any trouble. Due to the lack of oversteer or understeer, it is one of the prime candidates for Street Races.
The off-road capability of the Remus is fairly high: uneven terrain and bumps in the road are easily absorbed by the suspension.
8. Dominator ASP
The vehicle is mainly based on the 2000 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R and is a predecessor of the Vapid Dominator. It has great acceleration and top speed, rivaling some vehicles in the Sports class. However, the best part of the Dominator ASP is its strong grip - unlike other muscle cars, it does not lose traction at high-speed cornering.
Its brake is somewhat below average, however. It takes a longer distance to stop the vehicle in a straight line and sometimes the brakes might even lock up.
9. Jester RR
The Dinka Jester RR is a 3-door liftback coupe based on the fifth-generation Toyota GR Supra (J29/DB). It has a good top speed and good acceleration. Handling is decent, with the ability to preserve some traction around corners. Steering is fairly responsive.
However, the Jester RR can easily oversteer, which takes the driver some time to get used to. That is why the car is only in the fifth spot on this list.
10. Warrener HKR
The vehicle is primarily based on a Nissan/Datsun Sunny pick-up truck with a Skyline C10 GTR front transplant, also known as a Hakotora, which is where the "HKR" from the Warrener's name came from.
Performance-wise, it comes with fairly decent acceleration and a lackluster top speed. The handling could also be better coming in just above average.
