Winning a tournament is hard, but giving all the prize money to an opponent may be even harder. Dominique “SonicFox” McLean, one of the best pro-gamer ion fighting-game scenes donated all his winning to Curtis “Rewind” McCall after dominating the Injustice 2 Pro Series Grand Final in Chicago at the end of November.

SonixFox gave all his prize money to Curtis “Rewind” McCall after winning an Injustice 2 tournament

Curtis “Rewind” McCall, who finished second place is a friend of SonicFox. They usually train together for tournaments. Unfortunately, Rewind's father is in stage 3 cancer, and he will have surgery. So it's the reason why Sonixfox gave all his prize money ($10,000) to Rewind, to help his friend's family paying for the medical treatments.

“I don't do this for the money. [McCall] is one of my good friends, one of my training partners, and I'm so very happy to have shared the stage with him.” Sonixfox said after the tournament.

Rewind said: "It was pretty surreal, and for Sonic to do that genuinely shows how good a person he is. He's one of my closest friends in the FGC, and in general he makes sure I'm taken care of. I know he's got my back."

It's a lovely action, and we should hope SonicFox will left more his mark in the fighting game scene.
