The biggest Free Fire pro tournament this year in India, Free Fire India Championship Spring Split 2021 (FFCS 2021) is going to begin tomorrow, January 29. The registration phase has already started a few weeks ago and is going to end tomorrow as well.

Schedule and Format of FFCS 2021

Free Fire India Championship 2021 Spring Split

Open Qualifiers I: 4 Feb 2021 (5.00 PM IST)

48 qualified teams from FFC mode would be split into 4 groups of 12 each. They would then play a best of 4 - the top 2 teams in each group would proceed to the League Stages while the 3 to 5 spots would play the Closed Qualifiers.

Closed Qualifiers II: 5 Feb 2021 (5.00 PM IST)

12 teams from the previous round and 6 teams from the previous seasons (ranked 7 to 12) would be split into 3 groups of 6. Each group would play a best of 4... and the top 4 teams from each group would qualify for the league stage.

League Stages: 19th Feb to 7 Mar 2021 (6:00 PM IST)

The league stages will be played every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and will go for nine days. 12 qualified teams from the previous two phases along with 6 top teams from FFIC 2020 (1-6) will be split into 3 groups of 6.

The format would be best of 6 - the top 2 squads in each group would proceed to the grand finals while the remaining 12 would proceed to the play-ins rounds.

Grand Finals Play-Ins: 14 Mar 2021 (6.00 PM IST)

12 teams would play in a best of 6 matches... and the top 6 would proceed to the Grand Finals.

Free Fire India Championship Spring 2021 Grand Finals: 21 Mar 2021 (6.00 PM IST)

12 teams (6 from League and 6 from Play-ins) would compete in a best of 6. The best team would be crowned Champions.

Prize pool

FFCS 2021 is going to have a 75 lakhs INR prize pool, 50% bigger than the previous season.

Point system

  • 1st Position - 12 points
  • 2nd Position - 9 points
  • 3rd Position - 8 points
  • 4th Position - 7 points
  • 5th Position - 6 points
  • 6th Position - 5 points
  • 7th Position - 4 points
  • 8th Position - 3 points
  • 9th Position - 2 points
  • 10th Position - 1 point
  • 11th Position - 0 point
  • 12th Position - 0 point

Each kill would give the squad 1 point. If 2 teams have the same number of points, the placement points would be the tiebreaker.
