Over the past 2 years, Signify has been among the top contenders in the domestic Esports scene. Their Dota 2 and CS:GO squads have been consistently winning national competitions. They featured some of the best talents in the country.
However, the time has come to an end. Today, in the team’s main Facebook Fanpage, Signify stated that the brand would be dissolved by July 1, 2019. In the official statement, Mr. Rajdip Gupta, Co-founder, Horizon Sports mentioned the reason. Horizon Sports and their partner Cobx Gaming Private Limited got into a conflict over ownership structure. To avoid further unnecessary inconvenience, they agreed to dissolve Signify.

To share more about the ultimate aim of Horizon Sports, Mr. Rajdip Gupta continued. They formed Signify 2 years ago, looking to promote Esports as a professional competitive sport. They aimed to build up professionalism Esports scene in India. The Esports scene in India since then has thrived with many more professional organizations. With their aim achieved, Horizon Sports looked to avoid conflict with Cobx Gaming. They would then step aside and get more involved in organizing tournaments.
In his words, the Co-founder of Horizon Sports thanked their players for their contribution to building one of the best teams in India. He wished players good luck in their career. As a professional organization, Horizon Sports would provide help for their players to find a new career. The organization would like to give thanks to the media and their fans. Without them, Esports would never prosper as it does nowadays.
Signify brand has made their name in India as a top contender in Esports, especially Dota 2 and CS:GO. From featuring different rosters of different nationalities to creating an all Indian teams, Signify has made great progress.
