Call of Duty: Mobile is currently the hottest new FPS in the market. It has brought back quite a few classic game modes along with some of the best maps in previous installments of the series. In this short guide, we will list out the basic details for all the map in the game, along with speculations for future maps.

Crossfire

Crossfire
Going without covers on the street of Crossfire is often fatal

Crossfire makes another appearance. This map was from Modern Warfare, known for its cramped corridors and wide streets. In this map, snipers and LMGs would have the advantage, as there are excellent sightlines for long-ranged fights between buildings. When playing on this map, your best choice is to go flank the campers.

Standoff

Standoff
Players need to be careful when playing this map because it is very easy to be flanked

Standoff was from Black Ops II. Its narrow streets and back alleys provide players with covers from sniper fire. You would need to be extra careful in this map, as it is really easy to be caught unaware.

Crash

Crash Map
The eponymous crash site

Crash is originally a map from Modern Warfare, and it is one of the smaller maps available. Due to its size, going melee with an SMG would be the most effective choice, as the site contains a lot of buildings that can be used as cover. In those narrow corridors, you would be able to run and gun from cover to cover while avoid getting ambush.

Killhouse

Killhouse
Based on the tutorial mission, Killhouse is a small map that contains quite a few blind spots.

Killhouse is the smallest map in the game – it is based on the tutorial mission of Modern Warfare. To be successful in beating this map, you would have to be extra careful when moving, especially when passing the common hiding spots.

Firing Range

Firing Range
The Firing Range is a popular map for veteran players

This map is originally from Black Ops, and is one of the more popular among the fans of the series. In this map, there are a lot of sharp angles and close-quarter section, however, due to its size, rifles would always have an innate advantage.

Nuketown

Nuketown
The most popular map in the previous Call of Duty installment.

There is a reason that Nuketown matches are often regarded as some of the most intense in the franchise. Action can take place pretty much everywhere, from camping at windows to rushing by the garden and buses.

Takeoff

Takeoff
Takeoff is an isolated platform in the middle of the sea

A decently large map from a DLC of the Black Ops series, Takeoff is a floating spaceship terminal. Due to the abundant open spaces and lack of covers between buildings, it is heaven for assault rifles users. In this map, you would want to get to the highest ground possible so that you could take down your foes why they scramble into non-existent covers.

Isolated

This Battle Royale map took a lot of inspiration from the maps in Blackout. The location also includes some of the most iconic landmarks from Call of Duty, like the previously mentioned Spaceport Launch and the Estate in Modern Warfare 2.

What map can you expect from future updates?

Call of Duty’s developers release new maps rather often, and even if you do not like any of the map now, later contents might be available to change your mind.

Terminal and Rust from Modern Warfare 2 are extremely popular amongst fans – They would certainly be brought up in future updates. Based on a rumor in the community, Highrise is also going to be included as well.
