This past week, Android players received several new games that might not look all that flashy at first glance, but they all come with their own unique ideas that make them stand out from countless others on the Play Store. Let’s have a look:

Long Keith The Sausage Thief

You’ve probably played Snake at some point in your life before. You know, the game in which you control a snake to eat stuff so that it grows longer and longer? Well, Long Keith The Sausage Thief is basically the exact opposite of that. You control Keith, a special dog that grows longer when he’s nervous. The problem is, he’s ALWAYS nervous, so you must constantly direct him towards sausages that he can eat to reduce his stress and thus his growth.

Yokai Dungeon

Yokai Dungeon is a new product from Neutronized, the same studio behind the acclaimed platformer Super Cat Tales. Based on Japanese folklore, Yokai Dungeon is cute roguelike game in which you push blocks on top of evil spirits to destroy them.

The Black Widow

The Black Widow is a unique game based on the true story of Louisa Collins, a woman living in the 19th century who was accused of murdering her two husbands and sentenced to death. The case was a highly controversial one, so now, you’ll contact her via an Ouija board to hear her story and decide for yourself if she was indeed guilty or was wrongfully executed.

“OXXO”

OXXO is a gravity-based puzzle game that is all about making the right connections. It is a game for truly dedicated fans of the genre as there is no tutorial whatsoever. It’s entirely up to you to figure out how things work and what shapes go together. It might sound difficult, but that is exactly what a good puzzle should be.

Kubrix

Kubrix is yet another puzzle game, in which you are given a cube and have to rotate parts of it to have the electric current flow to the designated spot. It’s kind of like an isometric Rubik cube with a twist.
