Genshin 2.6 leaks have been made available immediately after the release of version 2.5. The biggest reveal amongst the leak is probably the new Artifact sets for Xiao and Ayato. In this article, Gurugamer is going to go through the sets' leaked effects and which characters would be able to use them.
Keep in mind that until 2.6 is released, all these leaked data can be changed at any time.
Table of Contents
1. Echoes of an Offering (Ayato set)
- 2pc: ATK +18%
- 4pc: Normal Attack (NA) has a 36% chance to proc (once every 0.3s) a buff that boosts NA DMG by 60% of ATK. The buff expires 0.05s after the next NA that deals DMG. If a NA doesn't proc the buff, the next NA will be 20% more likely to proc it.
The 2 piece effect is fairly generic (similar to Shimenawa's Reminiscence and Gladiator's Finale) but the 4 piece effect is a brand new passive that boosts normal attacks massively. Overall, this artifact would allow characters who mainly deal damage with normal attacks like Yoimiya to be more consistent.
Echoes of an Offering is going to be the main set for Ayato, as his skill removes the ability to use either charged or plunge attacks. All of Ayato's damage would come from his boosted normal attacks.
2. Vermillion Hereafter (Xiao set)
- 2pc: ATK +18%
- 4pc: After using an Elemental Burst, the character will gain a buff, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character loses HP, Their ATK will further increase by 10%. This increase can occur up to once every 0.8s, max 4 stacks.
Vermillion Hereafter has the same 2 piece effect as the previous set, however, its 4 piece effect is geared toward a different build. The set buffs the user's ATK every time they lose HP, after using their elemental burst.
Overall, Vermillion Hereafter can gain up to 66% ATK boost. However, the condition of "taking damage" is pretty restrictive, especially if you are a shield user. Xiao is pretty much the only effective user of the set, as his elemental burst drains his HP. Xiao players can get to 4 stacks pretty easily, and the set effect actually lasts almost as long as his burst.
3. How good are these 2 sets?
Overall, the Echoes of an Offering set might seem to have a RNG effect at first glance, it is actually fairly consistent. The chance is increased by 20% every time the player fails to trigger the buff, which allows a fast normal attack build to dish out consistent damage.
The Vermillion Hereafter set can only be used on a DPS character, as the effect gets removed if the user is switched out. It might become useful later if Genshin Impact release more characters with the ability to drain their own HP.
