Kirara, who was once known as Momoka, has become very popular among Genshin Impact players. This upcoming character has undergone many changes in the past few months, causing confusion among both regular players and data miners. However, as version 3.6 is nearing its official release, more information about Kirara is starting to become clearer.

Through time, it has been revealed that Kirara is a 4-star character from Inazuma who wields a sword and uses the Dendro element, even though previous leaks suggested that she would be a Geo 5-star Bow user. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase a complete guide for farming Kirara's Ascension and Talent materials.

Genshin Impact Kirara Ascension Materials

Most of Kirara's materials are available for farming and players can pre-farm them right now if they plan to pull for her.

Nagadus Emerald

Nagadus Emerald is the ascension stone for all Dendro characters. Kirara is not an exception.

Nagadus Emerald

Players can get them by doing the following:

  • Defeating Jadeplume Terrorshrooms or Dendro Hypostasis
  • Nagadus Emerald can be randomly obtained from Chests, Daily Commissions, and Events.
  • Players can convert other types of gemstone into Nagadus Emerald using Dust of Azoth, or merge lesser emeralds into higher tier ones, at a rate of 3:1.

Evergloom Ring

Evergloom Ring is a Character Level-Up Material obtained by defeating the Iniquitous Baptist found in the new 3.6 Desert.

Iniquitous Baptist

The Iniquitous Baptist can be found in the newly released desert region, close to the 'Gate of Zulqarin' waypoints. To locate the area, follow a road that leads to a cave. Once you have unlocked the two Statues of the Seven and revealed the entire map, head towards the extreme left and open the two waypoints.

There are two waypoints, one on top of a hill and the other on the road, which you can teleport to. From there, enter the cave and continue until you see a large arena with three elemental particles rotating against each other. As you approach the particles, the boss will spawn.

To track the respawn timer of Iniquitous Baptist, check your adventurer handbook. You can also wait at a waypoint further away from the boss' location and teleport back in when they respawn. Another option is to place a custom waypoint just outside the main boss arena.

Amakumo Fruits

The Seirai Island has a few Amakumo Fruits growing on its periphery, but the majority of them are concentrated around the central peaks. It is advisable to complete Seirai Stormchasers before harvesting the fruits as it eliminates the need to deal with Balethunder while gathering them.

Spectral Husk/Heart/Nucleus

Spectral Nucleus can be farmed in Genshin Impact by defeating Specters, which are found in certain areas of the game. Here's how to farm Spectral Nucleus:

  1. Specters can be found in the "Other Worldly Story" domain, which is located in the Golden Apple Archipelago. You can access this domain by completing the prerequisite quests.
  2. The Specters in this domain drop Spectral Nucleus when defeated. You can repeat the domain as many times as you want to farm more Spectral Nucleus.
  3. Another location to find Specters is in the "Beneath the Dragon-Queller" domain, which is located in the Inazuma region. The Specters here also drop Spectral Nucleus when defeated.
  4. You can also find Specters in the "Shadow of the Warrior" domain, which is located in the Moonlight Forest area of the game. Defeating these Specters will also yield Spectral Nucleus.
  5. Specters are also on Watatsumi, Seirai and Enkanomiya.

In Genshin Impact, the Guardian of Apep's Oasis is a weekly boss that was introduced with version 3.6. It takes the form of the Dendro Dragon and appears at the end of Act 2 of Nahida's story quest. After completing the quest, the domain associated with the encounter is unlocked, allowing players to farm the boss at their own pace. However, rewards can only be obtained after the first clear each week.

How good is Kirara?

According to information leaked on Twitter by merlin_impact, Kirara, a character in Genshin Impact, is primarily a shielder, with her Elemental Skill, Meow-teor Kick, generating a Dendro shield around her in two forms. The first form, activated by pressing the action button, gives her the Shield of Safe Transport, which absorbs Dendro DMG with 250% effectiveness, scaling from her HP. The second form, activated by holding the action button, gives her the Urgent Neko Parcel state, where she deals Dendro DMG when crashing into opponents and gains improved speed and jumping height.

Genshin Impact Kirara 1

Aside from shielding, Kirara's other abilities are focused on enabling Dendro reactions, with her regular attacks not dealing Dendro DMG, but her Elemental Burst, Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch, intended to do just that. Using it, Kirara deals AoE Dendro DMG, spreading Cat Grass Cardamoms that explode after a short time or if they touch opponents, dealing further AoE Dendro DMG.

Kirara's passive skills include Bewitching, Bewitching Tails, where she gains up to three additional shields with every opponent hit in her Urgent Neko Parcel, allowing her to keep her shields up continuously. Her Timely Bedazzlement ability increases the damage of both her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst based on her Max HP, while her Cat's Creeping Carriage skill prevents party members from startling animals that produce food resources.

Overall, Kirara is likely a support or sub-DPS character with a few supporting skills, and her Constellation levels make her even more effective as a shielder and Dendro enabler.
