Vesna Strivozha arrives in Version 7.1 as a 5-star Anemo sword DPS and Commander of the Druzhna. She is a Vila loyal to the Tsaritsa, and her kit turns Cryo Swirl into Stellar Swirl while she stays on field with Spirit Blades and Sword Essence.

She is an on-field carry, not a typical Anemo support. Most of her damage comes from personal Stellar Swirl hits on her enhanced Skill, not from classic Swirl formulas. Do not put Anemo DMG% on her goblet. Stellar damage wants ATK.

How her kit works

Elemental Skill, The Art of Victory, summons a Spirit Blade, puts Vesna into Armed for Action, and grants Sword Essence. In that state her attacks become Anemo, she gains interruption resistance, and she can spend Essence on Windborne Sword. Those strikes level up across the stance and count as Stellar Swirl when a Stellar Vortex is nearby.

Elemental Burst, For the Tsaritsa!, is 60 energy. It deals AoE Anemo (Stellar Swirl in Radiance) and refunds Essence. Talent priority is Skill first, Burst second, Normal Attack last.

Passives convert party Cryo Swirls into Stellar Swirl and add base reaction damage from Vesna’s ATK (up to 14%). Disciplinary Action stacks raise Spirit Blade damage after Skill or Burst uses. She can also hover in the overworld.

Best weapons

Beyond the Chrysalis is her signature and best in slot. It feeds Crit DMG, Stellar Swirl damage, and energy so Burst fits every rotation.

Strong alternatives:

  • Whitelake Frostfeather (Odette’s signature)
  • Azurelight
  • Emberwell (Snezhnaya craftable, best free option)
  • 7.1 event sword (Silver Light or New Bough)

Artifacts and stats

4-piece Scarlet Proof is the dedicated Stellar Swirl set: ATK, Crit Rate, and a large Stellar Swirl damage bonus after you trigger the reaction. Farm Viridescent Venerer only as a temporary shred set.

Main stats: ATK% sands, ATK% goblet, Crit Rate or Crit DMG circlet.

Substat priority: Crit Rate and Crit DMG, then ATK%, then Elemental Mastery, then Energy Recharge.

Aim for:

  • ATK 2,000 to 3,000
  • Crit Rate 50 to 60%
  • Crit DMG 180%+
  • ER around 120%
  • EM 120 to 180

A second Anemo teammate usually covers energy. Stop stacking ER once Burst returns inside the combo.

Best teams

Stellar Swirl needs off-field Cryo. Odette is the premium partner. Cryo Traveler is the free core.

Premium ceiling: Vesna, Odette, Cryo Traveler, C6 Faruzan. Highest damage, no sustain.

Comfort premium: Vesna, Odette, Cryo Traveler, Vodyanitsa. Healing, ATK buff, Hydro and Cryo RES shred.

F2P: Vesna, Cryo Traveler, Faruzan, Diona.

Faruzan or Sucrose holds Viridescent. Vodyanitsa is the co-banner Hydro support and the easiest way to add sustain without dropping the reaction. Avoid extra Hydro that steals auras if you can.

Rotation

Set up supports first: Faruzan Burst, Odette Skill, Cryo application from Traveler or Odette. Swap to Vesna, press Skill, spend Windborne Sword uses, weave N3C to refill Essence, and drop Burst mid-combo when it is ready. Stay on field until the stance ends. Do not swap early or you lose Disciplinary Action stacks.

C1 adds a free high-level Windborne Sword and 20% Stellar Swirl damage. The signature weapon still outperforms C1 as a first investment. C6 is a large spike if you go deep.

Vesna is a focused Snezhnaya carry. If you already have Odette or a built Cryo Traveler and want a new on-field DPS, she slots in cleanly. Build ATK and Crit, keep Cryo on the enemy, and let the Spirit Blades do the rest.
