Constellations is a special upgrade system in Genshin Impact that gets unlocked by earning dupes of a character you already have. Each character (except for Aloy) has 6 constellations, with each level providing a unique bonus. While some constellations are fairly tame (C3 and C5 only unlock more levels for your skill and burst), there are constellations that change how the character is played altogether.

In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the top 10 best Genshin Impact constellations in 2022. As Genshin Impact constellations cost a lot of primogems, which requires a lot of grinds or real-life money, picking the right constellation to invest in is a big decision.

Genshin Impact Constellation tier list
This Genshin Impact Constellation tier list will showcase the top 10 most useful constellations levels in the game.

1. Fischl C6: Evernight Raven

  • Extends the duration of Oz's presence on the field by 2s. Additionally, Oz performs joint attacks with your active character when present, dealing 30% of Fischl's ATK as Electro DMG.

Evernight Raven is pretty much the strongest C6 in the game. It boosts Fischl to the top spots of any tier list. This constellation adds a lot of mechanics and utility to Fischl, alongside allowing characters with fast attack speed to deal an absurd amount of damage. It also triggers her 4th ascension passive for even more damage.

2. Xiangling C4: Slowbake

  • Pyronado's duration is increased by 40%.

Xiangling's Burst is her main source of damage, and with C4 active, the duration gets extended to 14 seconds. In DPS situations that’s a straight-up 40% increase in damage per rotation, and as a support, you get 4 more seconds to trigger extra effects. With most Xiangling builds focusing on Pyronado, players only need to get to C4, as C3 already adds three talent levels to her burst.

C4 is especially important if you use Xiangling as the sole Pyro unit in the team.

3. Rosaria C2: Land Without Promise

  • The duration of the Ice Lance created by Rites of Termination is increased by 4s.

C2 Rosaria is a must-have if you are using her as off-field support. It brings the total duration of the ability from 8 seconds up to 12 seconds, adding two additional ticks of damage. This means Rosaria would be able to apply extra Cryo and Melt for more damage. Overall, this is a fairly small investment to get one of the better Cryo support in Genshin.

Genshin Impact Rosaria 3
Rosaria has been overshadowed by Shenhe, who has the same role.

4. Beidou C2: Upon the Turbulent Sea, the Thunder Arises

  • Stormbreaker's arc lightning can jump to 2 additional targets.

As Stormbreaker's arc lightning can jump multiple times on a single target, Beidou's C2 actually give a lot more damage than it originally seem. With 2 extra jumps from C2, Stormbreaker now has a total of 5 hits that can be chained between two or more enemies.

This means with a single spark, against 2 targets, Beidou gets to hit one target thrice and the other target twice. This increases her damage potential greatly.

Beidou Elemental Skill
Players should not build Beidou around her counter.

5. Bennett C1: Grand Expectation

  • Fantastic Voyage's ATK increase no longer has an HP restriction and gains an additional 20% of Bennett's Base ATK.

Bennett is one of the best support in the game, providing both healing and damage at the same time. However, at C0, his skill has a restriction for characters with lower than 70% HP, which can be a problem at a later content.

Bennett Attack
Bennett is the best Pyro support in the game.

His C1 resolves this issue and allows Bennett to heal and buff at the same time regardless of the ally's HP level. This is why C1 is a must-have on Bennett.

6. Kujou Sara C6: Sin of Pride

  • The Electro DMG of characters who have had their ATK increased by Tengu Juurai has its Crit DMG increased by 60%.

Kujou Sara is a rather lacking character at C0, with a weak buff that doesn't affect all characters. However, with extra Genshin Impact constellations, she transforms into a much better choice.

Kujou Sara Genshin Impact 3
Sara is rather bad unless you invest greatly in her.

Her C6 grants an extra 60% Critical Damage boost on top of her normal buffs, allowing the Electro DPS in her team to deal massive damage. As Raiden Shogun is one of the most popular DPS in the game to date, Sara C6 could definitely bring Raiden's damage to the next level.

7. Sucrose C1 – C2: Clustered Vacuum Field/Beth – Unbound Form

  • Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308 gains 1 additional charge.
  • The duration of Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 Type II is increased by 2s.

Sucrose benefits greatly from both her C1 and C2, as they enhance her ability to fulfill her role. Besides the extra gathering, C1's 2nd charge allows players to swirl 2 elements instead of one, which is useful if you are playing a reaction team.

Sucrose
Sucrose Genshin Impact constellations are useful if you want to run a reaction team.

C2 gives her burst more duration, which equates to more damage and utility.

8. Sayu C1: Multi-Task no Jutsu

  • The Muji-Muji Daruma created by Yoohoo Art: Mujina Flurry will ignore HP limits and can simultaneously attack nearby opponents and heal characters.

At C0, her burst can only do either heal or attack, which is too clunky and hard to use. Much of Sayu‘s potential is locked behind C1, which allows Sayu's burst to deal damage and heal at the same time. This increases the survivability and DPS of Sayu lineups.

Sayu Genshin Impact
The best artifact set for Sayu is the Viridescent Venerer Set.

9. Ningguang C6: Grandeur be the Seven Stars

  • When Starshatter is used, Ningguang gains 7 Star Jades.

Unlike the other Genshin Impact constellations on this list that are mainly focused on utility, Ningguang's C6 is pure damage. It pretty much doubles the damage of her Burst, allowing players to run Ningguang as a deadly DPS.

Ningguang
Ningguang requires investments to become an effective damage dealer.

There are no other constellations in the game that increase a character's DPS by 100% similar to this.

10. Kaedehara Kazuha C2: Yamaarashi Tailwind

  • Increases the Elemental Mastery of characters within the field by 200. Kazuha also gets a passive +200 EM.

As 5 star characters are much harder to get than 4 stars, most of them do not make this list. Kazuha's C2 however, is an exception. It is pretty much the only must-have five-star character Constellation in the game.

The team buff bonus from Kazuha's C2 makes him even better support than he already is.

Kazuha Vs Raiden Shogun
Kazuha is the best support in the game to date, who presents in pretty much all top spiral abyss comps.
