Genshin Impact is a swap-based team game, with players swapping characters in and out to deal damage. While some characters must stay on the field to deal damage, other characters can just cast their skill, be switched out, and still be effective. This tier list will only consider the C0 performance of characters.

1. Albedo

Albedo is the best Sub DPS character in Genshin, with the ability to provide high supplemental Geo DMG in an AOE with his burst. Furthermore, he also buffs the team with an additional 125 Elemental Mastery, improving their reaction damage.

The best part about Albedo is that he can use DEF % Artifacts like Noelle, lowering the build's difficulty.

2. Ayaka

6. Zhongli

Zhongli is the best Shielder in the game and also one of the most powerful characters lore-wise. His tough shield can withstand all types of enemy attacks, allowing players to get away with any type of squishy lineups.

Furthermore, he is no slouch when it comes to dealing damage. Zhongli can dish out huge AoE Geo damage with his Elemental Burst, which also inflicts Petrify.

7. Mona

Outside of her elemental burst, Mona is a fairly underwhelming character with low HP and DEF. She mainly deals damage using her powerful burst, which also provides the team with a DMG buff.

To get the most out of Mona, it is best to build her around a lineup that triggers reactions like Permafrost, Vaporize, or Electro-Charged.

8. Yae Miko

Yae Miko is the newest character in Genshin Impact with the ability to dish out incredible burst damage. While her skill does not snapshot, she can just use her burst right away for the high DMG multiplier instead.

For each fox turret on the field, her burst gets an extra bolt that deals more than 200% damage.

9. Xingqiu
