Dori is a 4-star Electro Claymore Character in Genshin Impact. She is a support character designed around applying Electro and regenerating energy for other characters in the team.

In this article, Gurugamer.com is going to showcase a complete Genshin Impact Dori build guide.

Genshin Impact Dori Build

1. Dori Skill Set Overview

Overall, Dori's biggest strength is that she is an ER support - players can use her alongside any DPS character who needs mid to high Energy Recharge. Her single target healing is decent, covering the same niche as Kuki Shinobu. Players should level up Dori's Burst and Skill while skipping her Attack talent.

Due to the nature of her Electro application, players can control when to apply electro to the enemy, which prevents reactions from ruining combos.

Dori's weakness is her low particle generation and high Burst cost, however, it can be easily fixed by her A1 and A4 passives. She also lacks multi-target healing, which can be problematic in co-op but is still not a big deal. Lastly, Dori's Burst has low damage - not nearly as much as the average Electro Support.

Dori Elemental Skill

Directs a Spirit-Warding Lamp to fire off Troubleshooter Shots at opponents, dealing Electro DMG.

When Fixer Shots hit opponents, they will create 2 After-Sales Service Rounds that will automatically track opponents and deal Electro DMG. 9 seconds cooldown.

Dori Elemental Burst

Summons forth the spirit within the lamp to give the client various kinds of aid.

  • Lamp Spirit: Connects to a nearby character. The connected character will continuously restore HP based on Dori's Max HP, and will continuously regenerate Energy.
  • When the connector between the Lamp Spirit and the character touches opponents, it will deal Electro DMG to them every 0.4s. Only one Lamp Spirit can exist at one time. Lasts for 12 seconds with 80 energy cost and 20 seconds cooldown.

Dori is yet another Electro healer similar to Kuki Shinobu. However, she can regenerate Energy as well as heal, which is arguably a better utility. At level 10, Dori's burst regenerates 2 Energy per second, which equates to 24 energy.

Passive Talents

  • Unexpected Order: Has a 25% chance to recover some of the materials used when crafting Character and Weapon Materials.
  • An Eye for Gold: After a character connected to the Lamp Spirit triggers an Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, Quicken, Aggravate, or Spread reaction, the CD of Spirit Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon is decreased by 1s. This effect can be triggered once every 3s.
  • Compound Interest: When the Troubleshooter Shots or After-Sales Service Rounds from Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon hit opponents, Dori will restore 5 Elemental Energy for every 100% Energy Recharge possessed. A maximum of 15 Energy can be restored this way per Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon.

2. Genshin Impact Dori Build

Best weapons for Dori

Maxresdefault 2

Favonius Greatsword/Sacrificial Greatsword: Being a support character, the only thing Dori needs is to be able to cast her skill more frequently and generate energy for Elemental Burst. These weapons allow that to happen.

Alternate choices: Skyward Pride, Katsuragikiri Nagamasa, The Bell, Forest Regalia

Best artifacts for Dori

A general purpose artifact build for Dori consists of simply improving her healing capability and her Energy Recharge. Dori doesn't deal a lot of damage, so it is best to just fit her into a more supportive role with main stats that increases her HP regeneration capabilities.

Noblesse Oblige

Therefore, Noblesse Oblige x4 is the best choice for her. Alternatively, you can simply slap on any 2pc. +HP% and a 2pc. +ER% artifact to accomplish this. Players can boost her damage with the Thundering Fury set, but the efficiency is not that great.

3. Best Dori Team Comps

Overall, Dori is mostly used in reaction teams. As her damage is fairly low, the best reactions for her are Superconduct and Dendro.

Dori Physical Support (superconduct)

  • Dori + Eula + Rosaria + Zhongli

Players can run Dori in any Phys team, with her serving as the Enabler for the Superconduct reaction. As players can choose the time to trigger her Electro, they won't miss the timing of the combo.

Dori is particularly great when combo with Eula. She can provide Eula with ER and healing which are the two things the Mondstadt knight needs the most. Rosaria's there for Cryo Resonance while Zhongli can reduce Phys Resistance.

Dori Spread Dendro Support

  • Dori + Tighnari + Collei + Kazuha

She can also fit in any Dendro + Electro team comp as an enabler for the Quicken Elemental Reaction. Players will be able to control the timing of electro applications with her burst. This allows Spread to be triggered more consistently.

Tighnari Weapon

Dori Hyperbloom Support

  • Dori + Kokomi + Collei + Traveler (Dendro)

In a Hyperbloom team, Dori can be very useful as an Electro trigger. When switching her in, simply move between Dendro Cores with the Hydro Main DPS to trigger the reaction.

For this build, Dori will need to be stacked with as much Elemental Mastery as possible. Her healing might be affected a bit but that's not really a big problem.
