Genshin Impact Kujou Sara Build Guide

Kujou Sara is an Electro Bow user who's getting a rerun in 3.3 second phase, alongside Raiden Shogun. She is an excellent Support for Electro teams, and if players already got her in the first run, it is a great idea to try to get C6 Sara in this banner.

1. Kujou Sara Talent Overview & Gameplay

Talents

• Skill: Charged Shot will drop an Electro mine that explodes after a few seconds dealing AoE Electro DMG. Create a buff zone that increases ATK for characters inside, based on Sara's base ATK.
• Burst: Deals AoE Electro DMG, extending the ATK buff from her Skill. ATK Bonus from different Tengu Juurai sources cannot be stacked.
• Passive 1: While in the Crowfeather Cover state provided by Tengu Stormcall, Aimed Shot charge times are decreased by 60%.
• Passive 2: Feather explosion (Tengu Juurai: Ambush) restores 1.2 Energy to all party members for every 100% Energy Recharge she has. CD 3s.

Gameplay

Overall, most players consider Kujou Sara's kit rather clunky. She can't deal damage off-field, and her buff is 20% lower value than Bennett's. Her energy regeneration boost is also pretty subpar as she needs a lot of ER for it to be worthwhile.

The duration of her ATK buff is also very short and does not fit many teams. She needs C6 to become top-tier. Sara's combo is the usual support fare - just cast all her skills then switch to other characters.

Talent Priority

Kujou Sara is the usual support character whose whole purpose is to fire off Skill and Burst to contribute and then switch to the DPS. Just max her Skill first then her Burst.

2. Kujou Sara Best Constellation

With Sara being a 4-star, players should be able to get a few of her constellations and eventually max them out. Only C6 is great while the rest are nearly useless.

• C1: When Tengu Juurai grants characters ATK Bonuses or hits opponents, the CD of Tengu Stormcall is decreased by 1s. This allows players to use Sara's Skill right away every time they switch her out. However, as her Skill has a pretty short cooldown, this ability does not matter that much in the long run.
• C2: Unleashing Tengu Stormcall will leave a weaker Crowfeather at Kujou Sara’s original position that will deal 30% of its original DMG. Adds a little more damage and allows characters to get the ATK buff more easily.
• C4: The number of Tengu Juurai: Stormcluster released by Subjugation: Koukou Sendou is increased to 6. Increase her Burst's consistency a bit, but still not that big of an improvement.
• C6: The Electro DMG of characters who have had their ATK increased by Tengu Juurai has its Crit DMG increased by 60%. The only good ability in Sara's kit - this makes her perfect to support Electro DPS like Raiden and Yae.

3. Best Weapon & Artifacts for Kujou Sara

Weapons

Kujou Sara can produce enough DMG through her Elemental Burst and buff the team using Elemental Skill. She usually builds ER and focuses on maximizing the damage of her Burst.

• Best weapon:  Skyward Harp
• Substitute: Elegy For The End, Sacrificial Bow, End Of The Line, Mouun's Moon.

Artifacts

Kujou Sara's Artifacts choice is fairly standard - players can just put Noblesse Oblige x4 (for buff) or Emblem Of Severed Fate x4 (for damage) on her. Alternatively, they can also use Noblesse x2 and Thundering Fury x2.

Artifacts do not increase the buff that Kujou Sara provides so increasing the DMG of Elemental Burst and Skill will be the priority for Artifacts. The classic ATK/ Electro / CRIT works but using Energy Recharge sands also works well if you are using Emblem Of Severed Fate.

4. Genshin Impact Kujou Sara team comps

While Kujou Sara has decent support abilities and Electro application, she needs more than C0 to be effective. Upon hitting C6, she gets one of the best support passives in the game, which increases Electro Crit DMG by 60%. Low versatility is also her weak point when compared to characters like Bennett.

Kujou Sara Electro DPS team

Overall, mono Electro team comps like this require Kujou Sara to be C6 for the highest crit damage possible. As she came out with Raiden Shogun, Sara is the perfect companion to support her. In this particular lineup, Raiden Shogun is the main DPS, dealing damage with her burst.

As the damage of Raiden's burst is based on the energy consumed by team members, both Beidou and Kujou Sara fit perfectly as their elemental bursts require 80 energy. Individually, Beidou's burst can provide Electro dmg off-field and Kujou Sara can maximize Raiden Shogun and Beidou's burst damage.

The last piece of the puzzle can pretty much be any character, however, Bennett is the top choice here with his ability to heal and boost ATK.

Beidou can be replaced with Kazuha if players need crowd control. He can actually provide better damage if your build is focused on Raiden dealing damage solo.

Kujou Sara Overload Team

Similar to the above lineup, Raiden Shogun is the main DPS of the team, dealing damage using her burst and staying on the field as the main DPS. She also provides energy regeneration to Kujou Sara and Xiangling.

Xiangling's main role is to provide burst damage and Pyro application so that Raiden can trigger huge Overload damage. Kujou Sara C6 provides Raiden with a massive damage boost. As usual, Bennett's Elemental Burst provides decent ATK buff and healing to the team. His Pyro resonance with Xiangling also provides good damage.
