I. Schedule & Location

The Receiver Of Friends From Afar cooking event has four cooking challenges with four recipes unlocked every two days. This cooking event starts on Feb 21st, 2024. You will participate in the cooking game at Wangshu Inn in Liyue. Some characters will give you their orders and you will cook those dishes based on the recipes from Smiley Yanxiao, the Chef in this restaurant.

II. Missions & Tips

In Receiver Of Friends From Afar cooking games, Travelers will complete processing and cooking missions to make a perfect dish and serve diners. Follow these steps to complete cooking missions.

#1. Cut Ingredients

Firstly, Travelers have to complete the Prepping Process by slicing, cutting, or chopping ingredients. The indicator (needle) moves back and forth along the curving bar. You must click the cutting button with a knife icon when the needle reaches the yellow points.

Try to stop the needle at every yellow point before it reaches one end of the bar, or you will lose a star.

#2. Mix Ingredients

After completing the cutting process, Travelers will mix them. Hold the spoon button to make the needle move around the circle. Release the button when it reaches the yellow point. Then, hold the button again when the needle passes the yellow zones to make it keep spinning.

#3. Cook The Dish

After mixing the ingredients well, you cook the dish by tapping on the cooking button when the indicating needle reaches the yellow areas on the bar. You have five times to re-do the task you fail during the processing and cooking recipes, indicated by five stars above the cutting, mixing, and cooking buttons.

#4. Decorate The Dish

The final step before serving your diners is decorating the dish with A Vessel, Accessory, and Add-on.

III. Event Rewards

Receiver of Friends From Afar is a normal event in Genshin Impact. You will receive the following rewards from this interesting game.
