Indus Battle Royale Official Release Date
Indus Battle Royale is set to launch on October 16, 2024, for Android and iOS. The beta phase drew many players into the world of Indus, and with over 12.5 million pre-registrations on Android, the game is ready for its release.
In the launch announcement, Roby John, Co-founder and CEO of SuperGaming, said that with the launch of Indus, they are not just introducing a game—they’re offering a fresh perspective on the battle royale genre. Their goal with Indus has always been to highlight Indian art and culture through unique characters, weapons, and stories rooted in our heritage. They’re also excited to introduce our dual win condition with Cosmium and a never-before-seen ‘Grudge’ feature in this popular game genre. The incredible support from the community during the beta phase has helped us refine key elements of Indus, and they can’t wait for everyone to experience what the SuperGaming team has created.
Along with the release date announcement, SuperGaming launched a cinematic trailer showcasing combat in a dynamic battleground.
The trailer showcases Adi, the leader of his squad, as he ventures through the world of Virlok. His goals include gathering the rare resource Cosmium and facing off against his rival, Pokhran. Viewers see Adi evolve from a novice to an experienced fighter, leading to an intense confrontation with Pokhran.
Indus introduces a unique dual victory condition: players can win by either eliminating all other opponents or by collecting Cosmium, a resource found in the final circle of Nirvana. This adds a new strategic element to the traditional gameplay. The trailer also showcases the Cosmium collection mechanic and the Grudge feature, which allows players to seek revenge on those who have defeated them.
