Million Lords is a multiplayer RTS that has managed to attract quite a solid player base of roughly 100,000 ever since it entered beta last May. Now, the game has officially arrived on both Google Play and the App Store as a free-to-play game. Check out its trailer below:
Million Lords aims to set itself apart from other strategy games on the market by putting a strong focus on wage effective warfare rather than base building and resource management. That means you won’t really be building anything here, and instead the borders of your kingdom will expand as you conquer more cities and earn experience as well as loot.
There is no AI here either: each battle you engage in will be against another player. Million Lords has a massive world that’s shared between everyone, so theoretically, the quest to expand your realm can drag on for quite a while. Of course, you can also join a clan to team up with other players and conquer together.
The game also features a large collection of craftable items and an extensive skill tree for you to upgrade and customize your forces with. As you progress throughout the game, you can also collect various weapons of different rarities ranging from common to legendary.
As mentioned, the in-game world is static, so you’ll retain all your items and rankings after each season and won’t have to start over from scratch again. Of course, while this sounds really good, it might potentially become a barrier preventing new players to get into the game since it would be incredibly hard for them to compete with veterans.
In any case, Million Lords is now available on both Google Play and the App Store for free. Naturally, that means in-app purchases will be included.
