It’s likely that PUBG Mobile fans in India will never take a break from waiting for the Indian version of their beloved game until it comes into reality. The developers talked up about it months ago, but since then, almost everything has been delayed with no decent explanation at all.
However, numerous pieces of good news recently arrived in town in the last few days. First of all, Aneesh Aravind, a senior executive, has been appointed to take responsibility for the position of Country Manager in India. PUBG Corp. (also known as Krafton Inc.) now hires an Indian operations team full of gaming industry insiders for their upcoming title.
The Korean company already brought together a collection of much-experienced personalities. They’re as follows:
- Akash Jumde - Visual Content Designer
- Piyush Agarwal - Finance Manager
- Arpita Priyadarshini - Senior Community Manager
- Karan Pathak - Senior Esports Manager
For your information, all the appointed members mentioned above are considered veterans in their fields when they previously served several renowned companies like Tencent under similar positions and roles.
Prior to these recruitment announcements, some sources said the release of the PUBG Mobile Indian version would be delayed but gave no further information while the game is yet to receive a green light from the government for a possible comeback in the near future. PUBG Mobile India was established as a private limited company with a paid-up capital of 5 lakhs, as per the official PUBG Corp.’s press release.
PUBG Mobile India’s YouTube channel also streamed the first teasers featuring PUBG Mobile stars like Dynamo, Jonathan, and Kronten, along with rolling it out on social media as a temporary medication to cover fans’ expectations.
