The folks running the official X account for Persona5: The Phantom X just dropped a statement addressing the recent flood of player complaints following the latest update. The operations team said they’ve been getting a ton of feedback and plan to share what’s next for the game during the upcoming version update broadcast.

If you haven’t been keeping up, players have been pretty frustrated lately. The Global version of the game has been moving at what the devs call “accelerated progress” to catch up with the Chinese servers. This meant dropping several characters earlier than planned, but without enough rewards to make it feel fair.

On top of that, players are annoyed about the missing soft pity system, which would’ve boosted gacha rates as you got closer to the guaranteed pity at 80 draws. A lot of people have taken to social media to vent about how tough it’s been to snag the newest characters.

Right now, Persona5: The Phantom X is sitting at a rough 1.8-star rating on the Google Play Store and a Mixed rating on Steam. We’ll keep you posted when SEGA and ATLUS share more about what’s coming for the game.
