You insert a coin, choose the drink you want, and after a little bit of time it comes out, as simple as that. Well, the platform game Micro Vendor Adventures from developer N64 Gamer Boy shows you that the whole affair is actually a lot more complicated than you think.

We first got a glimpse of Micro Vendor Adventures in August when the developers released a teaser and announced that they were looking for beta testers. Now, after a couple of months, it seems that the complete product is finally ready. It will be launching on November 7, and it will be available on both Android and iOS devices.

In this game, you will control a mini robot by the name of Micro Vendor. It is the one who retrieves your drink from the vending machine and takes it to the delivery point. In order to do that, this little guy has to navigate through several hazardous stages.

In term of gameplay, Micro Vendor Adventures is pretty simple. Micro Vendor moves horizontally in a 2D environment, finds ways to get to the can of Coke, gets it, then traverses the map to deliver it to the destination. There will be many traps, enemies and even bosses along the way, because of course there are bad guys who want to prevent you from getting your favorite drink. However, you have the power to manipulate various objects in the environment, from blocks to elevators, so use them to create paths for Micro Vendor.

Many games have followed this motif, but the unique idea behind Micro Vendor Adventures is what makes it very entertaining. You can already pre-order it on the App Store right now. Again, the game is launching on November 7 on both Android and iOS.
