The 2021's PUBG Mobile eSports scene has officially kicked since yesterday with the Online Qualifiers for PUBG Mobile Club Open Spring Split. Teams from 27 different regions will compete for a massive prize pool of $1.6 million. Matches take place on three maps: Erangel, Sanhok, and Miramar.
The online qualifiers will continue until February 7th, 2021. It determines the teams that can advance to the tournament's group stage. All teams will play a total Teams can play 21 matches. Their two best matches from each map account for the final results.
There has not been any explanation why the snowy map of Vikendi isn't a part of the PMCO 2021 Spring Split. This year, the game officials decided to adopt the old point system for the tournament. The last usage of this was in the Online Qualifiers of PUBG Mobile Spring Split 2019.

In terms of match-ranking, the first team (Winner of a match) will get 30 points. The first and second runner-ups receive 22 and 19 points, respectively. Each kill equals one point.

This point system heavily favors those who manage to secure higher standings. Even if the team does not get too many kills, reaching the top standings should already secure a place. The officials have also announced that the more balanced point system table will come in the Group Stage. It was first was introduced in PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 2 and used most major events afterward.
This point system gives 15 points to the top 1 team, while the first and second runner up gets 12 and 10 points respectively. Each kill still equals one point.
