Free Fire India Championship 2021 Spring Tournament Format
To get their hands on the ultimate prize of the FFIC 2021, teams will have to fight their way through five arduous stages. All of the matches in the tournament will follow the Battle Royale Squad mode.
There are two stages that teams must conquer to qualify for the FFIC 2021 Spring. The first stage will be the Free Fire Cup (FFC) mode. The top 48 teams of this stage will advance to the League Qualifiers. After the second stage, which takes place on Feb 4th and 5th, the best 18 teams will compete for the FFIC 2021 Spring.
Then, in FFIC 2021 Spring, teams show off their skills in three stages: League Stage, Play-ins, and Grand Finals. The League Stage will take place from Feb 19th to March 7th, where the top 18 teams are divided into three groups of six. Over a course of nine League days, teams will play against each other in the group, round-robin style. The top 2 teams from each group will proceed directly to the Grand Finals. Meanwhile, the 12 remaining teams have to compete in the Play-Ins on March 14 to pick out the other 6 squads.
So, the FFIC 2021 Spring Grand Finals will be the battle of India's finest 12 teams. They battle for the whopping prize pool of INR 75,00,000 on March 21, 2020. This tournament also picks out the top-performing teams to represent the region at Free Fire’s next international event. The top 6 squads of FFIC 2021 Spring also guarantee themselves a spot in the Free Fire Pro League Summer 2021.
From the League Stage onwards, the FFIC 2021 Spring will be broadcast live. Fans can catch the battle on Free Fire Esports India YouTube Channel, as well as on Facebook and BOOYAH!
