The main story of Space Justice is set in the 23rd century. Players will take on the role of a Space Ranger who must now embark on a mission to eliminate a mysterious threat to the galaxy. That would involve facing waves after waves of enemies in a vertical shooter experience on a lively background.

Similar to other shoot ‘em up, the main focus will be taking down enemies while avoiding their projectiles, then defeating the boss to complete the stage. There are three levels of difficulty to choose from. The greater the challenge, the higher the rewards.

The game provides over 70 stages for players to overcome. At the beginning of each stage, they can pick powerups to help them along the way, or initiate the two-player mode.

One unique feature of Space Justice is that players will have a mother ship and a separate fleet of playable aircraft, each with its own arsenal and characteristics. As they progress through the game, more pilots will be unlocked. Additionally, the mother ship can be upgraded by spending materials collected upon completing stages to develop new technologies, and doing so will open up access to more content. This upgrade mechanic will also be crucial to surviving against raids from other players.

One big plus of Space Justice is that it is completely free to play. In-app purchases are present, which will add bonuses and increase collection rates, but they are not necessary for the enjoyment of the game at all.

Space Justice’s challenging action coupled with its detailed upgrade system and cross-platform multiplayer makes for a very solid entry. Fans of the genre, as well as those who just looking for something to kill time during commutes or toilet breaks, will undoubtedly enjoy it. Since the game is free, there is no reason not to check it out.
