This tier list ranks Support Cards based on their overall power, looking at the bonuses and skills they give your character. We didn’t include Rare cards since they don’t have unique effects and are pretty weak, even when maxed out. Stick to grabbing a few SSR and SR cards early on, and you’ll be in good shape for a while.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby Support Card Stat Tier Lists
The tier lists above show how Support Cards stack up against others for the same stat. When training a new character, focus on boosting two main stats. Pick two Support Cards for each stat, then add either Aoi Kiryuin or Tazuna Hayakawa, and you’ve got a solid setup for training a decent character.
As a rule, train your characters based on what they’re good at. For example, if you’ve got a character who’s great at long-distance races, pump up their Speed and Stamina with the right Support Cards. Early on, you might not have many good SR or SSR cards, so you’ll have to work with what you’ve got.

Obtaining New Support Cards
You can grab new Support Cards by scouting on Support Card banners or completing Story chapters. Each pull on the banner costs 150 Carats and gives you one Support Exchange Point. After 200 pulls, you can trade those points for any SSR Support Card.
Some SSR cards are free from completing main Story chapters, but you’ll need a trained character to win races in some chapters. You can also get SSR cards from events or the Shop using in-game currencies.
How to Upgrade Support Cards in Umamusume: Pretty Derby
Leveling up Support Cards unlocks better bonuses, and uncapping them raises their max level. Use identical cards to uncap and SP or Moonies to level them up. At levels 30 (SR), 35 (SSR), and 45 (SR and SSR), you’ll get extra bonuses.
