Many people have had rumors about Mark Hamill’s coming back to Star Wars movies. However, it was just a rumor, nothing for sure. It was until recently that Mark Hamill himself confirmed that he will one more time play the part of Luke Skywalker in Episode IX.

The confirmation was officially posted on his personal Twitter account. Fans are of course overwhelmed by this news, following with tons of questions about this new episode. However, Mark is the man who knows how to keep secrets. The answer that Luke would be present in the next entry in the Skywalker saga is the only confirmation from him. Other than that, answer to all other questions would be the same: "EPISODE NEIN COMMENT."

From Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope in 1977, Mark Mill has always been the one who is in charge of the character Luke Skywalker. With this coming back, it is very likely that he will continue with this role till the end of the Skywalker saga.

Earlier this month, the actor who has been in charge of Episode IV Leia Organa, the passed away Carrie Fisher, will also make an appearance in this Episode IX. All the footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens which has not been used will appear in this Lucasfilm product. The reason is thanks to director J.J. Abrams of Episode IX Abrams as he said that: "Finding a truly satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker saga without her eluded us."
