The newly-introduced Vending Machines of Fortnite: Battle Royale contains a bug and it takes players no time to find out about it. This feature has been in the game after the v8.10 update.

Fortnite Battle Royale Patch Notes
Vending Machines now give players free items

The Vending Machines are supposed to give the first successful player to interact with it a copy of the item it is displaying and then vanish, which means only one player can use it. At least that is what Fortnite developer expected it to do.

This bug compromises the Vending Machine function and makes it drop a copy for every single player who reaches it at the same time. For example, if two players approach it, the machine will serve them both with the item it has.

Alukarulz, a Fortnite player uploaded a video online showing others how to exploit this bug in the Vending Machines. It seems like this trick works for all attempts and any machine will have the same reaction. Alukarulz’s squad is able to use the machine all at once and they have everything replicated, from Legendary Rocket Launchers to Shield Potions.

They are currently serve more than one player

With the latest updates underway, the Common and Uncommon system is gone. Instead, if players find a Vending Machine, they will have higher-tier loot as only Rare weapons and items are available through the machines. A significant downer is that you cannot buy several items anymore.

The good thing is, you have free items but for one time only. If it was not for the bug, this new change would make the game much fairer.

We have heard from Epic’s community coordinator on Reddit about this bug. Sean “MrPopoTFS” Hamilton said that even though teamwork was cherished in Fortnite, the Vending Machines were not supposed to promote it that way. He also shared something players have been anticipated, this bug would be fixed soon.
