Players should be aware of some key tips and tricks to help navigate the world of Enotria: The Last Song. Understanding the game mechanics and the importance of certain items is crucial to saving valuable resources.
Table of Contents
1. Master The Elements
In Enotria: The Last Song, there are four elements, each with its own status effects: Vis, Malanno, Gratia, and Fatuo. These elements create a balanced circle of power, with each one countering or overpowering the others in a specific way.
Vis → Malanno → Gratia → Fatuo → Vis
As you explore regions and face bosses in Enotria: The Last Song, some enemies will use specific elements that inflict status effects. Typically, these enemies are resistant to the element they wield but weak to its countering element. Therefore, choose your attacks wisely. For instance, if an enemy is using Gratia, attacking with Malanno will deal heavy damage.
2. Manage Your Stats
When you start Enotria: The Last Song, it can be overwhelming to decide which stats to level up. To make the best choice, determine your preferred playstyle and focus on upgrading the stats that align with it.
In the game, the Maskless One can specialize in different roles based on their playstyle:
- Assassin for stronger physical attacks.
- Elementalist and Battlemage to boost Elemental and Ardore damage, as these are interconnected in the game.
Additionally, Trickster and Bruiser are crucial for any build, as they enhance your Stamina and HP, respectively.
3. Farm Crabs For Memoria
Memoria is a currency used for various purposes. You can earn it by defeating enemies and bosses, as well as by selling unwanted items to the Merchant.
To quickly gather Memoria, the Maskless One can farm Crabs for Valuable Shells. Each shell can be used from the Inventory to gain 2,000 Memoria, which is a significant boost, especially early in the game.
4. Make Use Of Armonia Sap
Armonia Sap is an early-game item the Maskless One will encounter in the first area, Quinta. It’s so powerful that it can rival the Armonia Amber, which is the main healing flask used to regenerate HP.
After consuming Armonia Sap, players will recover HP for a short time each time they hit an enemy. This item is particularly useful if you find yourself stranded with no Armonia Amber left. You can purchase Armonia Sap for 50 Memoria from the Merchant in the Theater of the Masks.
5. Complete Combat Rifts
Combat Rifts are red glyphs scattered throughout the stunning world of Enotria. When activated, players must complete the challenge or perish before they can leave the area.
There are two types of Combat Rifts in Enotria: The Last Song:
- Enemy Challenges: These require you to defeat several enemies to reveal a hidden passage or unlock a sealed room containing essential materials like Armonia Expansion or Armonia Amplifier.
- Boss Challenges: These spawn a boss that you must defeat to earn valuable rewards, such as new Aspects or rare Mask Lines.
6. Complete Character’s Quests
As you explore the main regions of Enotria: The Last Song, you'll come across characters in need of assistance. While some NPCs may offer valuable rewards like legendary weapons or Masks, others might simply thank you and move on.
In reality, these characters will play a crucial role during the final boss fight. To ensure you experience a special scene near the end of the game, make sure to complete as many quests as possible.
7. The Memoria’s White Dot
On the top right of the screen, you can see your current amount of Memoria. Memoria acts as the in-game currency, used primarily to level up your character or purchase items from the Merchant once you unlock the Theater of the Masks.
As the amount of Memoria required to level up increases with each level, it can be challenging to determine exactly how much is needed for the next upgrade. To quickly check if you have enough Memoria, look for a white dot that appears above the Memoria counter. This indicator also applies to the Path of Innovators points.
