A Minecraft Movie just dropped, and people are heading to theaters to check out their favorite blocky world on the big screen. The story dives into a big clash between the overworld and the Nether, with Steve and his crew of misfits working to stop Malgosha from taking over.
There are two post-credit scenes in the movie, and here’s the rundown on both. Just a heads up—spoilers ahead for A Minecraft Movie.

The film follows a unique plot where a scrappy team helps Steve defend the overworld from a piglin invasion. It’s got a mid-credit and an end-credit scene, both packed with fun Easter eggs that make the whole thing even better. Here’s what goes down in them and what they might mean:

In the first scene, Vice Principal Marlene is chilling at home with a villager when her ex-husband Clemente, who also taught Henry, shows up. He starts questioning her about the villager, and out of nowhere, the mob speaks perfect English and says they’re in love. It’s a funny wrap-up to the little side moments between Marlene and the villager, and it basically makes Minecraft mobs existing in the real world an official thing, which could set up more stories down the line.

The second scene is probably the coolest Easter egg in the whole film. After the credits roll, Steve heads back to his old house, but a woman named Alex is living there now. He asks about a chest in the attic, and she says it’s there, which makes Steve pretty happy. Then Alex invites him inside. It seems like a simple moment, but Minecraft fans will know Alex as the second default skin after Steve—she’s been in the game forever. Her being on Earth hints there might be more than one version of the world out there. Plus, Steve coming back for that chest suggests there’s something valuable in it, and since they don’t show what’s inside, it feels like they’re leaving the door open for a sequel or spinoff, just like with Alex showing up.
