The next famous FPS title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 is not just about the shooting between players or the hardcore campaign with plot portraying the bloody truth of war. There are more to wait in this reboot title from Activision and Infinity Ward. In the latest interview for this FPS title, the art director of Infinity Ward Joel Emslie has just revealed that players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 would have an in-game interactive toy named 'Tamagunchi'.
This interactive toy will only be available in the multiplayer feature of the game, and players of the game will wear it on their wrists. This 'Tamagunchi' will be a digital pet. When players wear it, this 'Tamagunchi' will be able to react with the players, and it can even tell you the performance of the players in the match
Some of you might feel familiar with the name Tamagunchi, because it is. This wrist toy in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 takes the inspiration from the iconic Tamagotchi – the handheld and pocket digital pet in the 90s. The Tamagotchi quickly turned into one the most iconic toy of that generation.
Like its inspiration, Tamagunchi in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 also requires care from the players. Gamers can do that by playing well in the game, or the chances are that the Tamagunchi will die.
Joel Emslie also told the interviewer that the first plan of them was not this Tamagunchi wrist toy for players. It was something like a smartwatch for players to view their statistics. Nevertheless, Infinity Ward has the "growing into more and more madness" mindset when it develops Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, the idea of having a digital pet to light up the mood of the players has been finalized.
