Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019: Mini-Map And Dark Edition Confirmed, Gamers Can Have Actual Night Vision Goggles

The big reveal for the multiplayer feature of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 has given out a lot of details and information the fans of the game have been starving for. With numerous videos released, the long asked questions about the mini-map in the game have been revealed.

Before the big reveal from Infinity Ward and Activision, there have been rumors that this reboot title will feature no mini-map in the multiplayer feature at all. The fans of the game have concerned about that a lot, since no mini-maps means dramatic changes in the meta of the game, especially for the competitive field of Call of Duty.

Turn out, those leaks are not totally wrong, but also not totally correct either. There is a mini-map in the multiplayer feature of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, but players will not have it by default. As revealed in the gameplay clip, you have to earn a 'Personal Radar' or UAV killstreak to have a mini-map. This Personal Radar will be given to you when you have secured two kills without dying, and it lasts for 40 seconds, seemingly. But this mini-map does not have the ability to sweep and then highlighting enemies.
